A Look Ahead at 2007 (October 23, 2006 - gms)
Before Us A Door
Just ahead is a season of decision that will establish life or
death, blessing or cursing for many who call themselves Christian. Those
in church and without will face this season of determination that could
leave them cut off, and that without remedy. This is a season when the
Spirit of the Lord will begin to distance heaven from the bearers of leaven.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut
to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying,
Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know
you not whence ye are: Luke 13:25 (KJV)
He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly
be destroyed, and that without remedy. Proverbs 29:1 (KJV)
This season of decision shall be to those who seek the Lord a
time of hearing His voice clearly and if they will but open the door of
their hearts to Him, they shall be established in life eternal and find
the wonderful reality of belonging to the family of God. These shall be
those who engage in the business of the kingdom and are enveloped in the
love, fellowship and provision of their Father and God. They will lack
nothing good and will have an abundant supply of all things of whatsoever
they ask. They shall not hunger nor thirst, for they shall be satisfied
during this precious time of communion.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,
and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he
with me. Revelation 3:20 (KJV)
Just ahead is a season of deliverance for those who willingly
seek His face and yearn to know His ways. Prisoners to drugs, alcohol,
pornography, selfishness, anger, fear, loneliness and insecurity will find
their prison doors opened wide. There will be an angelic intervention in
their affairs and the Holy Spirit will lead them out into the perfect liberty
of Christ (2 Cor. 3:17).
And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing
the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself,
supposing that the prisoners had been fled. Acts 16:27 (KJV) >An Open Door
The season that lies before us is one of open doors of utterance.
Revelation knowledge will freely flow to those who have spent time with
Him in prayer. Ministry opportunities will avail themselves in increasingly
supernatural ways. Many who have been “first” shall find themselves “last,”
and the last shall become first. Those heretofore unheard of and hidden
will come to the forefront and move in the wonder working power of the
Holy Ghost. Even those in prison will live and walk as freemen and find
opportunity to speak as the oracles of God.
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door
of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
Colossians 4:3 (KJV)
There is not one open door that man, nor the enemy, can shut.
The Lord has set an open door before you, and who can shut that which He
has opened?
This is a time of reward for those who have been faithful in
the little. Now you will be given much; much more than you ever dreamed
might be possible.
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door,
and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept
my word, and hast not denied my name. Revelation 3:8 (KJV)
What the Lord is doing is not dependent upon your strength, but
He will reward the fact that you have kept and guarded His word in your
heart.
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word
of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by
my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 (KJV)
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them
that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
Before you is the season of an open door into the fullness of
the Christ of God because you have put your trust in Him. He will not fail
you. Your season of harvest and increase is just ahead.
This is your season to excel in the things of God!
The land, the land; pray for the land for it is Mine, says the Lord.
I gave the land to My people Israel and will not repent. Though it may
be possessed by others for a season, yet will I not forget my covenant
with my people and I will restore the land unto them.
The land, the land; I will cover with My glory. I will pour out My
Spirit upon all flesh in this hour. All peoples in all lands will experience
a visitation of My Spirit and they shall know that I Am God.
The land, the land; I will send those who are My own to every land
to proclaim My love and call to those who have ears to hear and eyes to
see. I will cover the earth with My emissaries who will speak what they
hear while they abide with me in the secret place.
Brother Copeland delivered a word from the Lord
at the 2005 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign. He said, "There will be
times when the glory cloud falls and completely fills a church. It will
boil out of the doors of the church and go all over the neighborhood. People
will be standing out in the street and won't be able to see one another.
It will glisten and be so glorious that people will see sickness and disease
running off of their bodies." He also said, "It is a time that we've all
been praying for. So rejoice and enjoy it saith the Father, because I do
all things for you to enjoy. So have fun in the glory and heal the sick
and raise the dead and go with Me and see if you can stay up with Me saith
the Lord."
2006, The Year of the Fix .
. .
2006 is the year of the fix. Some have said it will be a year of “Heaven
on Earth” for those who are in covenant with God in Christ, and that it
shall be. The fix of
God will bring a change in the mix for 2006.
This will be the year of restoration and results. We, who are the prisoners
of hope spoken of in Zechariah going to have our dreams restored. The words,
“Turn you
to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare
that I will render double unto thee” (Zechariah 9:12 KJV), are being quickened
to those who have
not seen the vision of God manifest in their lives and ministries to
the degree that they have believed for. This is the year that you will
receive “double for your
trouble.” The needed fix will come in 2006.
Something is fixed when it is restored to its original condition and
can function in its designed purpose. Your fix in 2006 will set your life
and ministry in its God
ordained original condition so that you will be able to fulfill your
calling and realize your expectations in Christ Jesus.
Wherever you might have missed the timing of God, your timing will be
adjusted so that you will be back on time. Wherever you may have missed
a God sent
opportunity, you will be given another, even greater, opportunity.
Wherever you have suffered loss, you will have restoration seven times
over.
The touch of heaven on earth is going to change the mix and fix your
fix in the first few weeks of 2006.
A Change in the Mix in 2006 . . .
How things have been done will change. Concepts, perceptions and traditions
will fall by the way side to make way for God’s new wineskins. There will
be a
change in the mix in 2006 in order to bring about a much needed fix.
The Harvest will continue to surpass all that has ever gone before.
“The harvest truly is plenteous . . .” (Matthew 9:37), and the prayers
of those who have asked,
“that He would send forth laborers into his harvest” (Luke 10:), have
been answered. That great company of whom it is said, “How beautiful upon
the mountains are
the feet of [them] that bring good tidings, that publish peace; that
bring good tidings of good, that publish salvation” (Isaiah 52:7), are
on the scene and moving in the
power of Pentecost.
They are moving confidently and boldly in their calling because those
who have the rule over them (Hebrews 13:7; Hebrews 13:17; Hebrews 13:24;
) have
commissioned, anointed and sent them (Romans 10:15 KJV). This is a
change in the mix and a much needed fix in the mind-set of those leading
the church and that
fix is releasing a great army into the harvest fields in 2006.
As the harvest of unrighteousness (judgement) falls upon those who have
sown to the flesh and that which is contrary to God and His Christ, there
will be an even
greater glory and harvest to those who have sown in righteousness.
The Almighty is fixing all that needs to be fixed in 2006 so that the
church, can be moved into the field of souls in the harvesting power of
heartfelt compassion and a
new anointing.
2005,
The Time To Thrive . . .
According
to the Oxford University Press dictionary, to “thrive” is “to grow or develop
well or vigorously; to prosper or flourish.” 2005 is the God appointed
time to thrive.
The
Lord spoke through several of His prophets in 2003 and during this past
year and said that 2005 would be the year of overflow. One definition of
“overflow” is “the excess not able to be accommodated by a space.” It also
means to “be excessively full or crowded.”
As
you can see, the plan of God in this hour is to bring about a year of exceeding,
abundance as was spoken of in the book of Ephesians:
Now
to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at
work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly,
far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our
highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— Ephes. 3:20 (Amp)
which are before, Philip. 3:13 (KJV)
This
word “superabundantly,” translated “exceedingly” in the King James Version
of the
Bible
is a powerful combination of “super,” meaning “above, over, beyond; to
a great or extreme degree; extra large of its kind,” and “abundantly,”
which means, “existing or available in large quantities; plentiful.” So,
what we are being told is that this year will not only be, over and beyond
what would be considered plentiful, but will exceed it to such a degree
that our imagination cannot even grasp its measure. God has purposed to
bless us in such lavish manner that we have no frame of reference to comprehend
its magnitude.
By
faith we appropriate what only God can comprehend and bring to pass. His
answer to the call of faith is causing us to flourish beyond our capacity
to contain the result which comes pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing.
2005
is our time to thrive.
You Won’t Strive
In 2005 . . .
To
“strive” is to “make great efforts” or to “fight vigorously against.” You
won’t have to strive in 2005. The work of faith, the sowing of your life
and resources, has been done in the years gone by. What you have sown in
the past is what you will reap in the harvest of this year. 2005 is the
year of harvest.
Every
farmer who sows seed knows that he must wait for the harvest. He cannot
make the seed increase. He must let it mature and bring forth after its
kind, some 30 fold, some 60, and some 100 times more. All he needs to do
is harvest what has developed from the seed sown. This is the miracle of
harvest.
As
you continue in obedience to the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit
your harvest will increase. Your harvest is on the other side of obedience.
“God reserves and keeps for us the appointed weeks of the harvest” (Jeremiah
5:24).
You
will not strive in 2005. Your time of fighting vigorously against the powers
of darkness is at an end. The victories won in prayer are manifesting during
this year. The imaginations of your mind have been brought into captivity
to the knowledge of Christ. Your enemy has been routed and flees seven
ways before you.
Nothing
God has spoken to your heart will be withheld from you. In Habakkuk 2:3
we have read, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the
end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because
it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
We
have waited in faith and now is the time appointed; now is the time when
“it shall speak.” This is the promised hour when “it will surely come,
it will not tarry.”
Why,
you may ask, is this year so different? It is the time of the former and
latter rains, the overflowing of the banks of the river of the Spirit.
It is the time of reaping of even that which we have not sown. It is 2005,
the appointed time to thrive.

Time For A Change
I said you'd be changed in
My presence, saith the Lord. If you have not experienced change in your
life, if your old ways are still prevailing, if your old man is still in
evidence, you have not spent the time with Me that I desire. It isn't a
matter of self control or disciplining your flesh with no help from Me,
saith God.
If you'll spend time in My
presence you will be changed. Your old man will begin to pass away. Your
new man will begin to rise in the image of My Son. Your life will begin
to bear much fruit. The evidence of your walk with Me will change as a
result of spending much time in My presence.
If you're having trouble
getting rid of an old habit, if you're having trouble with your marriage,
if your family relationships aren't changing, you're not spending the time
with Me that would enable the change to come to pass. Your desire and the
motivation of your heart to walk uprightly before Me is a product of becoming
so close to Me that you do not want to bring hurt to Me.
In natural relationships,
when you love someone you want to do the right things for them. You don't
want to hurt them. Well, as you spend time with Me, saith God, as you spend
time in My presence, we'll develop a relationship that is closer than any
earthly relationship.
It will shape the pattern
of your living. You'll want to conform your ways to My Word simply because
it's the desire of your heart. Your life will change; but it will be a
product of your spending time with Me.
