We spent many of our meetings in early 2006 working on Brownie Try-Its and Junior Badges. We explored numbers and worked on different kinds of puzzles. We made crafts - some for Valentines Day included paper flowers and some neat woven paper hearts that you can open up and put candy in. We did small scrapbooks, too. We played with UV-sensitive beads - we sat out on the driveway in the sunlight and experimented with covering up the beads and watching them go white, and then exposing them to sunlight and watching them all become bright neon colors. We made "sun prints" - we placed objects on light-sensitive paper, left them until the paper turned pale, and then developed them by rinsing them in water. The results were a dark blue image on a lighter background. We had a party at Hoosier Gymnastics - that was a lot of fun. We had munchies and drinks, but the best time was playing on the equipment. We had a picnic at Washington Township Park - the girls played on the playground until it was time to eat. We had pizza, drinks, and Girl Scout Cookies. And of course, for our very last outing before summer, we had a big Build-a-Bear party in Greenwood. Every girl made it this year, and they all had a good time.
