DBA SUMMARY
Oracle DBA with exposure to the Oracle 10g environment. Which combined with extensive Unix/Linux experience makes me a worthwhile addition to any team working towards the future of Oracle Environments. Recently passed Oracle Database 10g: DBA Assesssment Exam, allowing use of Oracle Database 10g Administrator title.

Sys/Admin with experience configuring imlementing Unix/Linux solutions, along with exposure to Microsoft Windows implementations. Worked on DRP procedures and establishing security baselines for operation. Have worked on migrating solutions off Unix solutions to Linux based solutions.
SECURITY SUMMARY
CISSP/Security+ certified individual and Board Member of NEbraskaCERT. Have dealt with security issues in both the Unix/Linux and Microsoft Windows environments. Have Sys/Admin experience in implementing solutions.

 Responsible for reducing ICMP traffic exposure to outside world reduced through dropping ICMP traffic at the router, going through the technical and political process to get this accomplished

 Was involved with a variety of prototypes for the U.S. Military's Defense Messaging System (DMS) e-mail system.
 Wrote the X.500 component of the first X.400/X.500 e-mail prototype for the United States Department of Defense (DoD).
 Integrated support for the Fortezza card crypto products, into the X.400 and X.500 components
 This entailed writing a library version of the X.500 component for access from other libraries as well as writing a Stand alone version with a user interface.
 The Unix version was written using Motif and the ISODE X.500 libraries
 The Microsoft Windows version was written using the University of Michigan LDAP libraries.
 Was crucial in the selection of the vendor to provide X.400/X.500 support for the DMS prototypes. This entailed contacting several vendors, arranging for evaluations copies and modifying the DMS prototypes to work with the prototypes.
 Ported system to HP-UX environment from Solaris
 Was lead programmer for the effort to web enable the legacy e-mail system developed by Sterling Software.
 Installed/Configured Netscape Certificate Server as the PKI component of web enabling the legacy e-mail system.
