  Well, ok, so it just made it easier to be alive, but it's almost the same thing.
  He's the best acoustic guitarist I have had the luck and pleasure to hear,
  I think mostly because he enjoys creating and performing so much.
  Personal picks are that train and she's not.

  No, Michael didn't write that one.  He did write Gamble's Guitar
  and The Ballad of Elizabeth Dark, dissimilar spectral journeys
  through a past I can almost remember.  Find Time to hear these.

  but I didn't know that the first time I heard Eric play. His second effort,
  Resurrect, is the first one I bought.  Listen to Walkin' Back Home
  and Louis Armstrong's Broken Heart for a taste of Texas at its best.

  Longtime GCS fans will want to honk for The Goose Is Loose.
  It's a live "best of"; with favorites like Mercedes Benz and Words of Earnest
  tickling the hair in my ears, I can almost believe it's 1973 again.
