Psalm 40

I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry.  He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord

Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

For many years Jeff has battled with his health.  In August of 2006 he was diagnosed with cancer - stage-4 lymphoma w / spleen omegli and was given a very tough prognosis - less than six weeks to live. Chemo therapy was a risky, but vital choice.  After several cycles of chemo therapy (Rituxin/CHOP), he came down with a neupogenic fever and ended up in the hospital with a very critically low white blood cell count.  After two weeks, six blood infusions and "gallons" of IV antibiotics, he was able to leave the hospital and continue treatment at home.

Jeff is now in complete remission from cancer!

I am very humbled... so many people have fought the same battles, and many of them I have known lost these battles.   I am very greatful for my doctor and oncology staff, but I am especially grateful to God for His Grace and Mercy.”   JRS

Our latest edition is "Rosie".
She is a greyhound, a retired racer/brood that we adopted.  She is just as sweet as can be!  She even "smiles"!  At first it looks like she's snarling, but when she wags her tail and puts her head in your lap, well...

Here she is - happy and grinning!

as you can see, it brought out her wild side!

She still does her morning sprints, doing her best to turn our backyard into a racetrack... she needs to keep up her girlie figure!
