SYNOPSIS:
A prospectors’ remains found
in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona are identified as the father of JESSE PERALTA, an ex pick-pocket/card shark currently
working as "Loss Prevention” for a Las Vegas casino resort.
This “job” is JESSE’S
penance, in lieu of prison time for the $1.5 million sharked from casino magnate MR. UDENIO SR. Felony charges were trumped
up from the stolen wallet of a dignitary planted in JESSE’S room.
JESSE'S heart and home are in the
family vineyard located near Sedona, Arizona. JESSE’S land is held as collateral
by the UDENIOS, and the pressure of loosing it is impending and heavy.
Adopted brother CHANO PERALTA is a
fervent Latin-jazz conga player. He was found at age four by the PERALTA FATHER
during a prospecting trip in the Superstition Mountains. He was hiding in the rocks... his parents brutally murdered.
Happy-go-lucky blonde haired blue
eyed CHANO idolizes his older brother JESSE, but is a constant and at times annoying living reminder of the PERALTA father
to JESSE.
True character is revealed in these
two very different brothers on this road trip of adventure. They learn of their heritage and themselves while searching
for their family's legendary treasure.
The historic Superstition Mountains
are shrouded in Native American legend, as well as a mysterious bloody trail of murder and unexplained forces that seem to
be "protecting" its opulence.
