Here's the first page of my "Wetland detailing" article which
appeared in the April 2007 issue of
Railroad Model Craftsman magazine.

The original headline for this article, which I like much better, was
"Adding a little life to a lake."  The editors at RMC evidently didn't share
my enthusiasm for that headline and renamed it with this kind of 
boring one.  But that's the publishing biz.

You can see the actual building of this area of the layout 
from the ground up on my "Lake area" page.

Coincidentally, an article by my good friend Chuck Diljak, entitled
"The Two-Faced Doodlebug" also appears in that same issue.
This is the second time we've both had articles in the same
issue of RMC.
