"Tree Handle"
was published in the July 2006  issue of Model Railroader magazine, in their "MR Project Illustrated" section.  My friend Chuck Diljak co-authored it with me.

Basically, by adding a piece of styrene screwed to an angle that's glued to a plastic clothespin, you can make a holder for a tree that'll let the tree remain perfectly plumb, regardless of the terrain.

This is the photograph I sent Model Railroader so they could see what I was describing, and to give their artist something to draw from.
