Either the guys at the ALP paint shop were asleep or they
received a little "bribe" from someone before sending this
car off to interchange service on the Bona Vista RR of
"Beginner's Dictionary" cartoonist Gerry Leone.

The inside joke here:  a very well known model railroader friend of mine, Whit Towers, had a railroad called the "Alturas & Lone Pine."  He sent me a set of his decals to apply to one of my cars.  Instead of lettering it properly, I rearranged the "Lone Pine" to read "Leone Pin."

It was pretty funny at the time.  Really.
