RECENT E-MAILED UPDATES:

From Christine Ramirez, Thursday, April 17, 2003 1:17 PM
A couple of prayer requests that have come up this week. My dad has to be moved to a less expensive rehab center and then will only have 100 days left before the insurance stops paying for it. At that time he will have to go home or to a nursing home. Although he's is making progress physically, his mental state is not good. He thinks his bed is a prison cell and my brother says that he is only in reality about 10% of the time. He asks his visitors to help him escape.
Some friends of my sister's, Alan and Charlene in Charlotte,NC had a baby that came on March 10 and wasn't due until May 30th. Her name is Sarah and she is not doing well;all kinds of digestive, lung and heart problems. Mysister asked us to pray for them. And also she (my sister Sue) desperately needs a new job. She is just miserable where she is but can't quit 'til she finds something else.

From Kathryn Carpenter Wednesday, April 16, 2003 10:04 PM
Today was 6 months ago that Pat was laid off. We have 2 car payments and we need to get rid of both or at least one of them. Also Josh has had a cough the past week or so and can't seem to get rid of it and the doctor says it is a virus but did not give him any RX to help it. He has missed several days of school this week. He is fine physically but just seem to get rid of the cough.

From Lori Tilbury Tuesday, April 15, 2003 10:44 AM
Uncle Ron Fortner is doing well and walking up to one mile. Sarah Sorensen had her babies, is home and all is well.

From Ginger Trent Wednesday, April 16 9:41 PM
Kathy Fuller had a 13 yr. old 7th grade boy collapse at her school Wed. and later die at Maryvale Hospital. Kathy was very involved in the efforts to save the boy. This has affected her greatly. Pray for her and the family of Alejandro Quiroz. This comes at the 2 month anniversary of her/our good friend Vicki's death.

Bill Chappel is home after surgery. The doctor went up behind his lip to clip an artery leading to the nasal area, in hopes of reducing the bleeding Bill has from his nose. Sheryl reports he went through the surgery better than they expected. He is not as swollen or bruised as expected.

Bill reports his step-father, Ken Caruthers of Calif., does not have cancer, but complications with osteoporosis. Bill asked prayer that Ken can travel here for Alicia's graduation, next month.

Connie Churchill is looking for a job in the Peoria School District, starting in the fall. Please let her know of any job opening that you become aware of.

Robert Del Tredici is doing better and may get to come home soon. The doctors need to determine what is causing the bleeding and stabilize him. Pam asked we continue to pray that the war in Iraq will end soon.

Polly and Jack Small are trying to refinance their home. She asked prayer they will be approved.

Mary Jane Annas had her 2nd chemo Monday. She asked prayer for her mom, who suffers with osteoporosis.

Barbara Keske has not heard anything regarding her stolen truck (from the East lot at church Sunday morning). She asked prayer for her mother to gain the strength, the therapist at rehab are wanting to see, so that Mrs. Keske can be released to go home. She is recovering from hip surgery.

Please pray for the Lord to make His will clear to Robert Trent regarding what college to attend. The decision time is coming to a fast close and he is still not sure what to do.

I look forward to seeing everyone in class Easter Sunday morning. There were 42 in fellowship last week, and we missed those of you who were absent.
Love Ginger
