Instructor: Greg Bachar, M.F.A.
Greg Bachar has taught English at Seattle Central Community College since 1998 (Composition, Research & Writing, World
Literature, Poetry, Technical Writing, and Creative Writing).
He
received his B.A. from U.C.L.A. in English/American Studies and his M.F.A. from UMass, Amherst in English/Creative Writing
(Fiction).
He has published two collections of fiction, poetry,
creative non-fiction, book reviews, and literary essays (Three-Sided Coin & Sensual Eye) and has published his work in
numerous literary magazines (Conduit, Hawaii Review, Rain Taxi, Quick Fiction, Indiana Review, Southeast Review, among others).
He is the editor of Jack Mackerel, an annual literary magazine,
plays bass and loops, and is interested in photography, film, independent publishing, science, technology, and the future.
