Greenvale's Good Knight Kiss

Kissy's pedigree

kissy2004westernnationals.jpg

Pacific Coast Champion Mare and Reserve National Champion Mare, Kissy has proven herself!  Wendy Garrison found this little mare on a Connemara farm and proceeded to track down her previous owners and her dam's previous owners and get this little mare registered.  It took almost two years, but was truly worth it.  Thank heavens this great moving little mare was not lost to the Welsh World.  Kissy is by National Champion Greenvale's Ebony Knight and out of the double bred Captain Cat daughter, ABC's Brightlight, herself a National Champion Performance mare.  Kissy has produced two foals for us, Aberdale's Pic n Kiss who is now a 4 year old by Clarwood's Picadilly Circus, and Greenvale's Sherif of Locksley, a 2 year old gelding by Oak Grove Robinhood.  Kissy is a wonderful broodmare, easy to breed, easy to foal and a great mother.

Granola's Munchkin

Munchkin's Pedigree

Munchkin is a beautiful correct old-fashioned Welsh mare.  She is a great mover with a long, airy stride.  Munchkin has produced two fillies for us, Greenvale Munchkin's Violet and Greenvale's Knight Star.  Both beautiful Welsh fillies.  If I weren't getting out of the business, Munchkin would never leave us, she produces exactly the kind of ponies I like to produce, pretty, smart, great temperaments and super movers.  Because of some rough handling, she isn't particularly fond of people - never bits or kicks, just would rather not be caught.  Once you have her (I feed her in the stall and have no trouble catching her) she is fine to work with.  Easy breeder, easy foaler and a super broodmare.  She will be bred to Greenvale's Brilliant Bay for a 2010 foal.

Greenvale's Knight Star (pending)

What more do I need to say about an adorable baby like Star?  She will mature about 11:0 or 11:1.  Solid black except for a small star on her forehead although she may roan.  Wonderful confirmation, her sire is a National Champion and her dam's bloodlines need no introduction.  This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire some really good old type bloodlines in a beautiful package.  2009 filly.
