What We Envision for The Eisenhower Project
We intend for the Eisenhower Project to initiate the formation of a National Peace Service that will become the established,
empowered, nationwide community of informed citizens fighting to counterbalance the influence of the military-industrial complex
on national and world affairs, and, as charged by Eisenhower in his farewell address, to exert the public interest in compelling
"the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that
security and liberty may prosper together."
Towards these ends we will establish and build a National Peace Service to "guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence,
whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex."
