Dear Dale, I would not have you screeching
Or about writing to you, have you start preaching,
So here I send this missive now
So that you will not
HAVE A COW!

It's trite, not written well, 'tis true,
But my dear friend it is to you.
The words may not show but the feelings there,
It's true, Santa dear, I really do care!

It's hot, and I'm tired, but I sit and write,
Though the dishes are waiting, the kids start to fight,
For though other things I must sometime do,
This time right now is devoted to you.

You have inspired words, and smiles, my friend,
With every missive that you send.
I thank you for that, my dear friend Dale,
Now back to my stories with hopes of a sale! <grin>
