At precisely that moment,
The cartel enacted the change,
The street price would plummet!
The wretched and anguished would pay the piper!

At precisely that moment,
8,000 miles away,
She looked at his photograph,
Their thoughts intertwined in the Ether.

At precisely that moment,
A trigger was pulled, the hammer fell,
His last thought was her laughing eyes,
Joy rose in his breast.

At precisely that moment,
A dog barked outside the mother's window,
A raucous horn punctured her reverie,
Her gaze dropped to the bottle clutched in her hand.

At precisely that moment,
He swung the bat, a resounding CRACK!
He watched it climb, oh God, how it climbed,
He danced around the basepath, his first homer!

At precisely that moment,
In the camp, in a wretched mud hut,
A beautiful baby boy was born,
He would not live to hunt lions on the Savannah.

At precisely that moment,
They picked the sixth and final number,
She could scarce believe her senses,
All her dreams would materialize!

At precisely that moment,
In the grey and foreboding sky,
A muttered prayer to Allah, the button was depressed,
The aircraft disintegrated into oblivion.

At precisely that moment,
She said “I do!”
A tear spilled from her father's eye,
The sunlight danced in its center.

At precisely that moment,
The old woman clutched his gnarled-hand,
Squeezed, and grimaced,
A long exhale, and she quietly expired.

At precisely that moment,
A beautiful rainbow was etched,
In the beams of the morning sun,
Causing a multitude to OH and AH.

At precisely that moment,
The commentator uttered the words,
That shattered his complacency,
“60% of America's homeless are under ten years of age.”

At precisely that moment,
She leapt upon the stallion's back,
Racing the wind, her long tresses flying,
Behind her sparkling eyes, of his bronzed shoulders, dreamt.

At precisely that moment,
The banker's made the decision,
To revalue the dollars worth,
My life's hard-earned savings, gone!

At precisely that moment,
I understood! My soul rejoiced!
It was elementary! It burned vividly in my mind,
At precisely that moment.
