SEVENTEEN AND DESIRABLE

Dedicated to Miss CW (17)
(As I perceive how she imagines Christmas)

Christmas time, again it swiftly arrives,
Time to put away your guns and knives,
Punkers with spiky hair a glitter,
Nerds so silly, they make me titter.

Bimbos with necklines that bare their chest,
Stud puppies galore, they give me no rest,
KJAM is rapp'n, WMMO is rock'n,
Bring some CDs, fill my stock'n.

I hope my honey will call tonight
Drive to his house, share some delight,
Snuggle up close to him on the couch,
Won't tell my uncle, he's such a grouch.

No sense of humor, this babe needs space,
So off with the light, then suck some face,
Terrible decisions bedevil this teen,
Want to be grown up, know what I mean?

I gaze upon lackluster Christmas decor,
Bureaucratic minds, their taste I deplore,
But then, a good old Christmas song,
Maybe not humbug, I guess I'm wrong.

So as the season brings its trees,
Listen to the boys, voicing their pleas,
So maybe I'll give in, mayhaps I'll fight,
“Merry Christmas to all, to all good night!”
