Subject : More Poetry Less Talk

MW> Words of banter and pleasant conversation
MW> cloud the air surrounding me

It has gotten better of late.

MW> The air I myself had helped to make
MW> The air I myself had to breathe in
MW> Until the air was hard to breathe
MW> Until I had forgotten why I was
MW> breathing it in, in the first place

I know, you get caught up in it and it tends to continue, on and on and on and . . . .

MW> Until what I came for I had lost
MW> And so I screamed to all who could hear
MW> MORE POETRY LESS TALK!!!!!!

O.K., no need to be obnoxious.

Dedicated to Mark and his Quest

I feel a glimmer of a poem
Something about life in far off Rome,
Then I decide to change the pace
Turn one eighty, come about-face.

Hello Pixie, and how are you?
Allison, your hope-chest made me blue.
Patricia, I miss your posts of winners.
Andrew, Oops, the Bard, please, more of sinners.

Jenny, please write me something more.
Chris, take me with your words to a distant shore.
I love to chat with all you callers,
I'm afraid I've been a catalyst to dear Mark's hollers!

So I terminate this little ditty,
Gotta go check chit-chat then off to the city.
To all loquacious wanderers here,
Let me wish you well, be of good cheer!

At this point I draw the line,
Stuck to the subject, ain't that fine?

See what Mark thought of my efforts!
