Poems & Sonnets Date : 14-Jun-90 From : Dale Malone To : Fred LeggettSubject : Hail and Howdy!
I seek to persuade you to write,
Some rhymes, or simply free verse,
We suffer dearly from a blight,
Can't offer too much of a purse.
But, you are extremely adroit,
Your thoughts are most provoking,
We seek your talent, to exploit,
Your ego, I am carefully stroking.
Come in and drop us a line,
Grace us with your youthful vigor,
During the time you are not supine,
Mayhaps we can use your verse as a trigger.
To spark our own creativity,
To blend with your singular approach,
Toward banality I have a proclivity,
On your privacy I hereby encroach
Written by Dale E. Malone, I
liked to argue with Fred!
The Great & Wonderful Kahuna missed his argumentative logic!
