Responding to Christina's plea,
A poem, oh so short and loverely,
To match the beauty of her name,
Some words of rhyme, her smile to tame.

The first I heard of this lively lass,
Early one Sunday, after Mass,
She left a note on Tony's board,
Wanted some lovely words to hoard.

I pondered the thought and then I wrote,
Words like shining silver, did I quote,
Christina Smith, I dedicate to you,
Early morning's labor from my poet's stew.

I end it now with a final hug,
Hoping it finds you warm and snug,
May the Season prove it's not a myth,
Merry Christmas to you Christina Smith.
