Dana's
doing all right in school,
It's so hard to be good AND to be kool!
Grand dad arrived, here in town,
Dana has made, HIM to frown!
We
now oft times call her cute,
In the old days, mislabeled a brute,
Now, she has mellowed out,
But she still packs a right-jab clout.
Mikey
is often just a tease,
But he knows how, Dana, to please,
“Want to go out and go for a spin?”
Call your friends and jump right in!
I'll
take you down, to far yon mall,
There to spend your savings all,
With peals of squeals, a lack of poise,
Then off to flirt, with studly boys!
Wearing
her oh so very short-shorts,
She is reknown for her saucy retorts!
Now right back home, just to tell,
Her friends, she'd really raised hell!
But
deep in her spirit we knew,
She was sometimes confused and blue,
Back to her lips the smile would snap,
With a leap, onto dad's comfy lap.
When
mama would come to inspect,
Her bedroom was surely a wreck!
But this lovely young lass,
With a vacuum she'd pass.
In
three winks of a lovely lash,
It was carted out to the waiting trash!
Then with long, leggy, display,
She dashes outside to play!
Boys
routinely cruise right by her house,
Anxious to just try a peek in her blouse,
But vigilant granny was quite near,
“HEY! We'll have none of that here!”
It
was off to her friend’s to play,
The whole night over, she would stay,
When early arose the morning's sun,
She's still snoozing from last night’s fun!
Then
into the kitchen like a flash,
To concoct, some incredible hash,
Only an iron stomach like hers,
Could digest what ever so occurs!
Dana,
this lengthy Easter present,
Started out so incredibly pleasant,
But look how it suddenly slid to a stop,
As a poet, I feel quite sure I'm a flop!
