The Greater City Aquarium Society was founded in 1922.  It is one of the oldest continuously meeting aquarium societies in the United States.  Greater City is a member of the Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies and the Federation of American Aquarium Societies.  Our meetings are 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of every month, except January and February, at the Queens Botanical Garden.  Dues are $20 a year, and include 10 issues (one for each month of the year we meet) of our multiple-award winning magazine, "Modern Aquarium."
