Nominations (for next Spring):
The following Grand Canyon Circuit officer positions are up for election at the Spring Rally 2010: President
Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Spiritual Growth Pastor, and Spiritual Growth Laywoman (Incumbent, Debbie Dyjak). There
is no better time than now to start considering these opportunities to serve as one of the Grand Canyon Circuit Board members.
Our mission and our opportunities to share the Lord's work at home and abroad is extremely rewarding. The joy of serving
together makes our work a privilege and a pleasure. We meet twice a year as a board, and our primary function is to
plan circuit events and publicize LWMS in our circuit. We ask that you take this time to consider running for these
offices next spring.
Nominees for each office are asked to submit a bio (either by US mail or email)their skills and experience to the duties
of that office. We will accept nominations at any time, but we will specifically request them next year in
the February 2010 timeframe.
HOTEL OPTIONS: There are many options in the area. If you have not been to downtown
Glendale recently, it has become a destination shopping area for antique shoppers. There are many quaint and unique shops
in the area close to the church. If you need assistance with any information on the area, please contact the GCC President.
With so many congregations in the Phoenix area, we can look for individuals who would be willing to house other ladies from
outside of the area.
