Version Notes for GradeMail Version 3.2 – August 2009

This minor release corrects two problems:

  1. Excel 2007 file types are allowed when reactivating a spreadsheet.
  2. The last spreadsheet column is allowed to be used when configuring the spreadsheet.

Version Notes for GradeMail Version 3.1 – August 2009

This minor release adds additional file compatibility for Excel 2007 spreadsheets with macros.  Thus, spreadsheet files with type .xls or .xlsx or .xlsm may be used with GradeMail.

Version Notes for GradeMail Version 3.0 – July 2009

This release adds Excel file compatibility for both Excel 2003 and Excel 2007.  Thus, spreadsheet files with either type .xls or .xlsx may be used with GradeMail.

Version Notes for GradeMail Version 2.1 – October 2008

This minor release adds the ability to detect that the size of an Excel spreadsheet has been changed since its configuration was defined in GradeMail.  When a size change is detected, the user is informed if any of the existing configuration has to be changed and encourages the user to manually inspect the changed configuration to see if it is still correct.

Also, the window that shows the results of emails being sent will now always be scrolled to the bottom of the list of emails to better monitor the progress of the outgoing emails.

Version Notes for GradeMail Version 2.0 – September 2008

This release adds the capability to print grade reports for delivery to students in addition to the existing email delivery included in the previous version.  User help was updated to include printing.

A minor problem encountered when editing an existing course configuration was corrected.

Version Notes for GradeMail Version 1.0 – August 2008

This is the first release of GradeMail and should be considered as a “Beta” release.  The software has been subjected to a reasonable amount of use and testing.  However, it is certain that issues will be uncovered by early users.  Be assured, however, that the application will not change the Excel spreadsheets used as the source of data in any way.  Users are encouraged to report any issues (see the Support link on this Website) so they may be quickly addressed and a new version provided.
