Question: What kind of massage can I expect?

Answer: I know my site shows a lot of skin, but please don’t let that mislead you. I’m not an escort (my rates should be your first indication) nor is this a “rub and tug”. I view myself as a serious bodyworker. That said, a great deal of your massage experience hinges on how well you can communicate your expectations to me. I’m a people pleaser by nature and a versatile massage technician. In other words, I’m not a one-trick-pony. Let me know what you’d like and I will personalize your session.

Question: Is your massage therapeutic?

Answer: Absolutely! …But not clinical or boring. I view my clients as a whole, not as a body or a body part and I attempt to meet their needs—emotional, spiritual, physical—on as many levels as I am aware and able. Although any well-intended touch can be therapeutic, a well-performed professional massage can be transformational.

Question: Is your massage sexual?

Answer: All massage has a sexual aspect, whether people are aware of it or not. Even if I scrupulously avoid “naughty parts”, it’s still possible to inadvertently arouse someone. Believe me, the body is a veritable mine field of erogenous zones.

But the fact that a sexual component is present in a massage doesn’t mean that the session necessarily will culminate in a sexual act. While it is impossible not to communicate during a massage (remember, I believe touch is communication) it is possible to misconstrue or be unaware. This is an area where I believe the client and I have a shared responsibility for accurate communication of boundaries.

Question: Is your massage sensual?

Answer: Webster’s Dictionary defines sensual as: “relating to or affecting a sense or a sense organ”. And that’s the primary definition. The fact is: I provide a cozy, dimly lit room (often scented with essential oils), soft music, and a warm touch. That is, by definition, a sensual massage regardless of how or where I touch you.

One professional massage association describes sensual massage as touch that mainly stimulates skin rather than muscle tissue. By this definition I do not offer a sensual massage. My massage is definitely geared toward muscle tension relief.
