 Encounters is about a number of encounters with women. Some being just brief touching in passing. Some are more intimate.
Some are romantic, some sexual. Others are closer moments with already friends women. The book is made up of journal entries
in chronological order. Entries giving light to what was happening within me and in my life leading up to the encounter are
included as well as how it was for me - emotions, reflections, changes, growth - following the encounter.
Encounters shows that strength and gentleness are not mutually exclusive. And that a cosmic awareness and spiritual approach
to life in no way excludes or compromises emotions and a love of romance and/or sex. Add to that, evidence in the journal
writings that a man can be a man and still be sensitive and reflect on and grow from encounters with women. Also that a man
can have friendship and/or sex with a woman and do it with love; with loving her without being "in love." And appreciating
her as a person and a woman and an equal in the universe and respecting her womanness and her individual personality and power.
And hopefully, the book is a window into a life that is, if I do say so myself, unusual, multi-faceted, and interesting
to read about.
It is 175 pages long. It is printed on a nice cream colored paper. The cover is shown to the right. The back cover is
the same lavender color and has several excerpts from the book on it. It is 8.5" X 5.5".
At this point I have not had the funds to print the book into a professional paperback book format. I have a limited amount
of self bound books which I'm selling substantially cheaper than the books will sell for when I get them professionally printed
and bound. When that will happen will depend on funds and how much interest is shown in the books.
What I have for sale now are some that have a cover of a stiff posterboard and some that have covers of cardstock weight
paper.

 What on Earth Are They Doing Down There? is thoughts, reflections, and feelings about the Earth; how we treat it and the state
of the environment today.
It is divided into 8 chapters. The theme of the chapters range from feelings for the Earth, to observations of what we
and our machines are doing to it. And it offers some thoughts about why we do what we do, and some suggestions as to how we
as individuals might get in better touch with it, and how we through sharing could lessen our impact and treat the Earth better

It is not a book that offers a solution or prescribes a program to follow; rather it is soul searching and encourages
sensitivity and awareness and different priorities than the destructive ones now in vogue.
