There is nothing about the nominee for the GOP that surprises me at all. This is the leftward direction that the party
has been going since the first Bush. Nominating McCain will clinch the fact that there is now no longer a dimes bit of difference
between the parties. We will have a choice between a man whose Campaign Finance Reform Bill goes against the first amendment
right to free speech, his gun loophole law violates the second amendment, his anti-torture bill violates the common sense
we need to win the war on terror, his pro-illegal immigration stance violates the constitutional requirement that the government's
main role is to protect our nation from foreign invasion. Which of the Bill of Rights will fall next to McCain's wimsy? The
other choice we will have is with a power hungry socialist woman, or a power hungry communist and Islamic rights supporter
in Obama. With all due respect to the Ron Paul supporters, he didn't have a chance with the establishment of blue blood
Republicans who had Juan McCain chosen long ago. Now it is clear that we have to look forward to a global warming tax, (because
McCain doesn't have the courage to argue the scientific facts against it) a new amnesty bill that WILL get signed, and the
death of the conservative movement in the GOP. The choice we face is to ride along with the downward, leftward spiral that
McCain represents, or start by looking at third party alternatives. We can do what one local man did and start his own
party. Perhaps they have over a hundred members now. Or, we can look at what was once called the Taxpayer's Party. Today it
is called the Constitution Party and it is the third largest political party in this country. They believe in the values that
made this country great, they do not discard the Constitution when it becomes expedient or unpopular to support it. They believe
in the right of an American to Free Speech, Freedom of, not from, Religion, and the right to keep and bear arms. They believe
in limited government, and power to the people, not the elite. The CP wishes to abolish the IRS, the CP takes a strong pro-life
stance. The CP will make America the country it used to be. You don't have to agree 100 Percent on their issues, but if you
will check out their website, I am sure you will find it a welcome relief to the despair I felt as even the last of those
who at least 'pretended' to be conservative dropped out of the race. They believe in defending the soveriegnty of this
nation against invasion from illegal invaders. They stand on principle, knowing that to win by compromise is a loss. There
are those who will vote for McCain because they fear the anarchy of a total Democrat, anti-war government in a time when we
need a strong national defense. They don't understand that a victory with a moderate Republican will do more harm to the country
than anything a Clinton or Obama Presidency will do. A victory with McCain will seal forever the fate of any conservative
wishing to run on the GOP ticket. It's time to move, now. McCain, Hillary and Obama seek to reenact the Fairness Doctrine,
which will drive the Rush, Hannity and Savage audiences to underground sources to get the news they need. All seek to limit
the rights of gun owners, all seek to appease the poor science of Global Warming by allowing a corrupt UN to institute a global
warming tax, (guess who pays the bulk of it). THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. I am a member of the Constitution Party, I believe
that they are the party of the future and can change the political landscape with enough support. This is my personal busy
season but I hope to seek out those who are just tired of the GOP and the lack of support for the base conservative values
that have brought them all together.
Remember, keep up the fight, and perhaps we can send Mel Martinez, McCain and his ilk home.
The Questions that were going to be asked during the WMFE interview
to be seen on Sunday.
- Why won’t elected officials,
either in D.C. or Tallahassee, come back to the negotiating table and search for solutions?
BECAUSE YOU HAVE ON THE ONE HAND THE DEMOCRATS WHO NEED PEOPLE TO DEPEND ON
THEM FOR THEIR PARTY TO SURVIVE, IT’S THE PARTY THAT PROMISES MORE HANDOUTS IF THEY CAN JUST GET ACROSS THE BORDER.
THEY ARE ALSO LOOKING TO ADD TO THEIR BASE OF VOTERS.
ON THE OTHER HAND YOU HAVE THE REPUBLICANS THAT TRADITIONALLY HAVE TRADED THEIR
SPINES FOR MORE FACE TIME ON TV. THEY WANT THE CHEAP LABOR FOR BUSINESSES, AND FEAR TAKING A STANCE AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
AS BEING A RACIST POSITION. THE FEW BRAVE ONES KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THEY CONTINUE TO IGNORE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE BUT
THERE AREN’T ENOUGH OF THEM TO ACTUALLY STEM THE TIDE OF ILLEGALS.
- As long as businesses are
hiring cheap labor, won’t there always be a presence of illegal immigrants in this county?
AS LONG AS PEOPLE ARE USING COCAINE THERE WILL BE A STEADY SUPPLY OF IT HERE
TOO. IT DOESN’T MAKE IT RIGHT ESPECIALLY WHEN OUR OWN CITIZENS ARE FEELING THE PINCH OF WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE TIGHTENING
HOUSING MARKET. IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS AND ARE HIRING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS YOU NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. THE APPROACH I TAKE ON MY
WEBSITE AT WWW.GOHOMEMEL.COM IS THAT ON THE FIRST OFFENSE, THE OWNER WILL SPEND TIME IN PRISON AND PAY A FINE, THE SECOND OFFENSE THE OWNER WILL SPEND
MORE TIME IN PRISON AND PAY A HEAVIER FINE, IF THERE IS A THIRD OFFENSE, THE BUSINESS OWNER IS SHUT DOWN PERMANENTLY.
- In Central
Florida, what will happen to the agricultural industry, for example, if we actually enforce anti-illegal immigration
laws?
NOTHING SERIOUS. THE UNIVERSITY
OF IOWA DID A STUDY ON JUST THIS TOPIC, ENTITLED, “HOW MUCH IS
THAT TOMATO?” THE CONCLUSIONS WERE THAT SINCE THE COST OF LABOR IS SUCH A MINUTE PART OF THE COST OF PRODUCTION OF VEGETABLES
THAT THE MAXIMUM THAT PRODUCE WOULD INCREASE WOULD BE ABOUT 4%.
BUT LET’S SAY THAT THERE WOULD BE AN EFFECT. YOU CAN’T HAVE IT
BOTH WAYS ON THIS ISSUE, YOU CANNOT SAY THAT THE DEPARTURE OF ILLEGALS FROM AN INDUSTRY WOULD ADVERSELY AFFECT THAT INDUSTRY
WITHOUT ALSO ADMITTING THAT THEIR PRESENCE IN THAT INDUSTRY ADVERSELY AFFECTS THE WAGES PAID IN THAT SAME INDUSTRY.
- What will happen in that same
industry if we pass an amnesty law? Won’t we be hurting the parts of the
system that makes it so appealing in the first place?
THERE IS NO REDUCTION IN THE COSTS OF ANY INDUSTRY GAINED BY THE PRESENCE OF
ILLEGALS THAT MAKES UP FOR THE COSTS GENERATED BY THESE SAME PEOPLE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OUR SOCIAL SERVICES AND PUBLIC ASSISTANCE
PROGRAMS. IF IT MEANS PAYING 4% MORE FOR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES AND WE ARE DOING IT KNOWING THAT IT IS OUR OWN CITIZENS PERFORMING
THE LABOR THEN I DON’T KNOW TOO MANY AMERICANS WHO WILL OBJECT.
- Isn’t there a double
standard for illegal immigrants who are actually trying to play by the rules? (Raquel’s story)
BY THE VERY DEFINITION, AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT DID NOT START OUT BY PLAYING BY
THE RULES. THERE ARE HEART WRENCHING STORIES ABOUT DRUG ABUSE AND ALL SORTS OF EXCUSES AND REASONS THEY HAVE BROKEN THE LAW
BUT IT DOESN’T CHANGE THE FACT THAT BY BEING HERE THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW.
- Regardless of whether someone
is here legal or not, don’t we still need to be concerned about human rights?
THIS ISN’T AN ISSUE OF HUMAN RIGHTS, IT'S AN ISSUE OF CONSTITUTIONAL
RIGHTS BEING GRANTED TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT AND CAN NOT BE A PART OF OUR CONSTITUTION. THEY COME IN ILLEGALLY AND SHOULD NOT
BE GRANTED AMNESTY IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.
AS FAR AS HUMAN RIGHTS GO, THINGS SUCK RIGHT NOW IN CHINA,
IN RUSSIA, IN INDIA,
IN VENEZULA AND IT IS RIGHT TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT IT BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN WE OPEN OUR BORDERS TO EVERYONE IN THE WORLD
IN THE NAME OF HUMAN RIGHTS. WE NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY THEIR COUNTRY RUNS SO THAT THEY WON’T HAVE TO LEAVE MEXICO. WE HAVE BECOME THE PIGGYBANK TO THE WORLD FOR EVERY
DICTATOR AND DESPOT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US BY UNLOADING THEIR POOR ON US. THEY ARE DOING THIS BECAUSE WE ARE SUCCESSFUL AND
WE ARE SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE WE ARE FREE AND WE HAVE A FREE MARKET ECONOMY AND INSTEAD OF HELPING THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT CREATE
A FREE MARKET, WE ARE CONSTANTLY BEING EXPLOITED AND I FOR ONE, AM SICK OF IT.
- What’s the best approach
to forcing lawmakers deal with the problems?
TO DO WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, THE FLIMEN, THE GO HOME
MEL.COM, THE RECALL MEL.ORG, THE MINUTMEN WE BANDED TOGETHER THIS SUMMER AND SHUT THE CAPITAL SWITCHBOARD DOWN, NOT ONCE,
BUT TWICE. THEY CAME UP WITH THE DREAM ACT, WE KNOCKED IT DOWN, THEY TRIED AGAIN WITH THE DREAM ACT, WE KILLED IT.
WE NEED TO SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE TO MEL MARTINEZ,
BILL NELSON, AND PRESIDENT BUSH THAT WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR NATIONS SOVERIGNTY TO BE SOLD DOWN THE RIVER. NO AMNESTY! GO HOME
MEL!
- Will this issue have a huge
impact in the next round of elections in Central Florida?
THIS ISSUE HAS INSPIRED ME TO OPPOSE MEL IN 2010. IT HAS INSPIRED ANOTHER MAN
TO WORK TO GET MEL RECALLED FROM OFFICE. IT HAS INSPIRED MILLIONS OF US WHO ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY
TO OPPOSE THE LEADERS WE PUT IN PLACE, THE RNC NEEDS TO BE WELL AWARE THAT IF THEY CONTINUE TO PURSUE THIS AMNESTY THAT THEY
WILL NOT HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THEIR CONSERVATIVE BASE.
- What does Central Florida look like in ten years if nothing changes?
WHAT TO EXPECT IN FLORIDA IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS.
1. Increased closures of hospitals, clinics
and other medical facilities.
2. Increased costs and fewer medical options
for those of us who do pay the bills at the hospitals, clinics and medical facilities that do stay open.
3. Increased failures as public schools become
more and more burdened with numbers of students with less and less funding to support them.
4. Increased crime (as you featured on your
show the last three weeks) as more criminals continue to cross the border.
5. More of a burden on lower skilled workers
as the jobs they formerly had get stolen by illegal aliens.
6. Increased taxes on those who pay taxes
as the welfare system, the prison system, the healthcare and education all begin to strain against an increasing population
of those who aren’t contributing to the expenses.
7. Increased resentment on the part of citizens
who see a growing disparity of the seeming preferred treatment that illegal aliens are getting as opposed to them and their
families. (In-state tuition, second chances for murderers, don’t ask don’t tell policy for police, jailed border
guards versus the free drug dealer.)
8. Increased resentment on the part of conservative
voters as the elected leaders they trusted, like Mel Martinez, betray them and lie to them about a position on amnesty so
they can get elected and change their minds.
9. Increased resentment on the part of liberals
and union supporters as union roles and paying members increase three fold while wages get cut in half or stagnate. Union
leaders begin to get paid more while union workers’ pay stagnates or declines.
REPUBLICAN STRATEGIST THREATENS LITTLE OLE' ME AND THE GO HOME
MEL EFFORTS!
You contacted me awhile back, but would never give your name. I am completely against your "Go Home Mel" push and I along
with several of my long time political friends will meet you head on and stop your movement in its tracks.
Best,
Nick Zoller
Republican Strategist
National Chairman, Millie Howard for President
My reply to Nick Zoller below:
In the arena of ideas, you might disagree, you might hate what I take a stand
for but the last two victories against Mel's immigration bill prove to me that your insipid RNC buddies are going to get theirs
in the end. So please don't threaten me with stopping me or the movement, this is a movement this is bigger than me and my
efforts, it's called democracy at work in a free country, don't like it? I hear Cuba's looking for some good politicians.
Well there you have it a Republican Strategist is threatening me that his political friends will "stop me in my tracks".
That's the problem with the RNC, they protect their own even if it means that the country suffers as a result! If this doesn't
send you down to the electorate office to change parties I don't know what will.
I mean now I have Millie Howards' guy after me, gee, if I had boots, I would be shaking in them now. (cue sarcasm)
BELOW IS A COPY OF THE 'FORM LETTER' APPROACH TO POLITICAL RESPONSE THAT HAS BECOME A BIG PART OF THE PROBLEM OF GOVERNMENT,
BELOW THAT IS THE RESPONSE I SENT TO OUR ESTEEMED SENATOR.
Dear Mr. Roberts:
Thank you for contacting me regarding immigration reform. I appreciate hearing from you and would
like to respond to your concerns.
As you may know, on June 28, 2007, the Senate voted to set aside debate once again
on the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 (S.1639).
I firmly believe addressing this issue in a comprehensive
manner is critical to our nation’s security and continued prosperity. While securing our borders is top priority, we
must also address the economic and law enforcement realities of having millions of illegal immigrants already living and working
in the United States. Any solution to this problem must be practical to be effective. Efforts to secure our borders should
be coupled with necessary changes to our current ambiguous and ineffective immigration policies to maximize security for our
country. Additionally, gaining operational control of the border will not cease the problem if we do not gain control of our
employment system. Please know that, I will continue to work with President Bush and my colleagues in Congress to develop
a plan that will halt the flow of illegal immigrants crossing our border while implementing needed changes to our immigration
laws.
Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions
or comments. For more information about issues and activities important to Florida, please sign up for my weekly newsletter
at http://martinez.senate.gov.
Sincerely,
Mel Martinez United States Senator
My response to his response is below:
Mr. Martinez,
When I voted for you, I did so because part of your platform was the denial of a 'pathway to citizenship' for the illegals
who have chosen to disregard our laws, our borders and our sovereignty as a nation. It was on your campaign website, (I have
the screenshot saved as do millions of others who previously supported your candidacy.) What happened? At what point did your
stance against amnesty become the launching board to promote amnesty, I was confused, hurt and very angry that you had stolen
my support and betrayed me. I expected better from a Cuban National who had lived to see the tyrannical nature of a government
with too much power, than to have you ignore and even oppose more than 80% of your constituents on this issue.
Reagan's Amnesty plan did not work, this one would not have worked either. The current ambiguous and ineffectiveness
of our immigration policy is not due to the policy itself, it's due to a complete disregard for the enforcement of this policy
by our law enforcement officials, couple that with the determination of Bush's Administration to criminally prosecute those
border guards who have the nerve to actually do their jobs on our borders and we have what we've got, a problem the current
administration seems completely unwilling to do anything about except to add 20 million more criminals to it.
You want a solution to this issue that Americans can get behind? Easy three step process,
1. Seal the Border - don't care how as long as no more illegals can get here.
2. Enforce existing Laws - No Z-visas creating an eternally renewable "temporary" visa, no fines for breaking the laws
- make employers pay for hiring illegals through prison time, the illegals will go home voluntarily because there is no work
for them. If they want to come legally make it easier for them to do so legally, but harder than hell for them to stay
here if they broke our laws to get here.
3. Stop the Handouts - if they are not citizens, they are not entitled to nor should they receive free education, free
public assistance, free legal aid, free anything. NO SOCIAL SECURITY FOR NON-CITIZENS! Stop making it so easy for the spanish
speaking culture to remain distant from the American culture by bending over ass-backwards to ensure bi-lingual everything
in this country! English First!
Until you can do these things, Mel, you will not have the support of the conservatives who backed you in 2004. And these
changes better occur before election season, so that we know it's for real. Me personally, I will not be able to trust you
again, because you and your party that I supported wholeheartedly for years betrayed me, and I can no longer trust any of
you.
P.S. - Go home Mel.
WARNING: BUSH IS LOOKING TO RESURRECT DEAD BILL!
WATCH FOR POSSIBLE EXECUTIVE ORDER IF REID DOESN'T AGREE TO PUT BILL BACK UP FOR CONSIDERATION.

From FAIR! Important news!
Bush to Visit Capitol Hill Tuesday to Push Amnesty Agenda! Call Your Senators to Let Them Know You Oppose
Amnesty!
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) had barely pulled the Bush-Kennedy amnesty legislation off the floor of the Senate
when President Bush announced he would attend the Senate Republican luncheon on Tuesday to discuss the issue of immigration
reform. The Associated Press reports that this will be the first Senate GOP luncheon the President has attended in
five years, another signal Bush intends to use the visit to push his amnesty agenda. And once again, the Administration
will act behind closed doors to achieve what he knows is overwhelmingly unpopular with the American people!
The Administration is indeed pulling out all the stops in order to get Congress to pass an amnesty for the 12-20 million
illegal aliens in the U.S. On Saturday, the President used his weekly radio address to urge the Senate to renew debate on
the bill. Sunday morning, Bush sent Administration officials to appear on Sunday morning news shows in an attempt to breathe
new life into the bill. On CNN's Late Edition, Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez declared that the Bush-Kennedy was "alive
and well" and that the Bush Administration was "more committed than ever" to passing it. Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ), also a guest
on CNN's Late Edition and a staunch proponent of the Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill, predicted that the legislation would pass
the Senate by the July 4th holiday! According to USA Today, President Bush was placing calls to Republican Senators
from Air Force One during his European trip in an attempt to twist arms and curry favor.
President Bush will be visiting Republican Senators on Capitol Hill
TUESDAY!!!! FAIR is urging all members, activists and friends to call their Republican Senators all day tomorrow (Tuesday)
and urge them not to buy into the President's amnesty agenda. Please tell your Republican Senators that President Bush does
not represent the American people on the issue of immigration reform. The American people want enforcement of our existing
laws—not amnesty and not guest worker programs. Please urge Republican Senators to listen to the American people and
not President Bush.
Your phone calls make a HUGE difference! To see their impact, please read the attached article from the New York Times
entitled "Grass Roots Roared and Immigration Plan Collapsed."
FAIR has listed below all Republican Senators and their phone numbers. If both your Senators are Democrats, please pick
two of the Senators below to call instead. Please call the DC office first, but if you can't get through after several tries,
call the main district office listed below. This week will be critical in determining whether the Bush-Kennedy is still alive
or whether it has finally been laid to rest. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! PLEASE
CALL TUESDAY!!!!

According to President Bush, those who are opposed to Mel's amnesty plan don't want what is good for America.
What part of good is 20 million new criminals in this nation? What part of good is overstressing the public schools system
with more students whose families can't pay taxes? What part of good is the closing of emergency rooms with an additional
million or so locals who don't have insurance?
What part of good is an open border system that allows everyone from Mexican to Muslim Terrorist to walk
across unchallenged? I suppose if we want safe borders and we want to maintain the uniqueness of our citizenship by not cheapening
it with this amnesty plan, then we don't want what is good for this country. So be it. If that is George's best, I'll take
another option, thank you.
According to Mel Martinez, his amnesty plan is 'good' for America and won't alienate the conservative base!
If this doesn't show those who hold to the lesser of two evils theory when voting, that the GOP's leader
and the GOP as a whole, simply doesn't get it, then nothing will. THERE NEEDS TO BE ANOTHER OPTION FOR CONSERVATIVE VOTERS!
There is, it's the Constitution Party, dedicated to the return to our Constitution as the final authority for our government.
Actual Quote from Mel:
Senator, talk about the politics of this. The president is taking a risk. Conservatives in your party, many of them are
outraged about this.
Is this the "destroy the Republican Party act?"
SEN. MEL MARTINEZ (R), FLORIDA: No, it
could be the saving of the Republican party, frankly. And to do nothing would be the wrong thing for the American people.
This is a time when we have to pull together. And every now and then, in Washington, we ought to be able to park bipartisanly
for the good of the country.
