As Master Samael states, the instinctive center's functions are innate, while the motor center's are learned. Since we are poorly related with our instinctive center, we are vulnerable to illness and disease. In short, we suffer. We need to work esoterically with the instinctive center by observing sensations, by taking in impressions without translating them.
