A Beautiful Sound - Loren Wong's Unofficial Geoff Moore Fan Site
Welcome! (Work IN PROGRESS!)
Please check out my Xanga at

Hey there and welcome to A Beautiful Sound! My name is Loren Wong and this is my Geoff Moore fan site. On this site, I'll include everything I know about Geoff Moore and some of his friends, including a recordings list, latest news, photos, show reviews, and more.

On this home page, I might include some information about Geoff's background or discuss how I originally became a fan and what I like best about Geoff and his friends.

Through Geoff's life and the music God's allowed him to share with all people, my prayer is that you too will be able to experience how all can be swept away in God the Father's love through His Son Jesus Christ and hear the Beautiful Sound that His work in people's lives produces.

Thanks for taking a look at my site. Be sure to get in touch with your thoughts and suggestions. I'll be updating every now and then, so please check back often.

Geoff and me at Bayside Church in Granite Bay/Rocklin, CA on May 26, 2002

The picture above was taken after Geoff was at Bayside Church (www.baysideonline.com) in Granite Bay, CA.  He was there that Sunday morning for the church to promote that he was going to be the speaker at their family camp that summer.  He and Roscoe Meek came and played Swept Away, A Beautiful Sound, and The Keeper.

Afterward, I got a chance to talk to Geoff a little bit.  I got him to sign my American flag-like San Diego Padres cap (which was later signed by Steven Curtis Chapman as well on Febraury 26, 2003...and if you don't believe they're great friends, SCC even recognized Geoff's autograph!) and my copy of "A Beautiful Sound" (ForeFront Records, March 26, 2002).  I also gave him a letter I wrote to him that also included some pictures back from February 13, 1999 when I helped shuttle him and Roscoe and their manager to Six Flags Magic Mountain from and back to Los Angeles International Airport.  At Bayside, I also asked him about a CUTCO fishing knife I gave him at DC/LA 2000 in June 2000.  I had attached a letter to that as well, but Geoff said he never got the letter so he hadn't known who gave it to him for 23 months!  He told me he loved it and used it regularly when he went fishing!  After that, he asked my sister and I what part of China our family was originally from.  This interest of his could probably be attributed to his recently adopted (at that time) daughter, Anna.  Since then, there has also been one more Moore added to the family, Ashley.  I'm guessing having Anna and Ashley around has sure helped Jan, Geoff's wife, feel more comfortable living with three males, Geoff, and their sons, Josh and Justin.
