As
a model, Gerald has continued to work throughout his career having billboards
in Times Square and on Sunset Blvd as well as throughout the United States
and Europe. He has appeared in a series of Land's End catalogues, was
the original "Merit Cigarette Man", and popped up in ads in magazines
from the Elle McPherson issue of Playboy, to back covers of magazines
such as Time, Newsweek, and The Inquirer with campaigns for Subway, Ford,
Ponderosa, Sprint, and Miller Beer to name few.
