CAP establishes Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund September 1, 2005 NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS – The
Civil Air Patrol, the auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, has
established a relief fund to help with the extensive multi-state
recovery efforts now underway in the wake of Katrina, a Category 4
hurricane that ripped into the nation's Gulf Coast Aug. 29. Cadet 1st Lieutenant Issac Galvez Makes the Paper (As published in the Northland News August 31, 2005 issue)
Issac Galvez of the Northland area, graduated from the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps' leader development and assessment course, also known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash.
Galvez attends Wentworth Military Academy.
