Plan on attending the 3 November 2007, one day Cadet Noncommissioned Officer Workshop sponsored by Indiana Wing Cadet Programs!

2008 Indiana Wing Conference dates are now set!  Wing Conference will be 29 Mar 2008 at the Clarion Waterfront on Indianapolis' west side.  This is a great opportunity for CAP members and educators for a very low cost!

Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the Congressionally-chartered, civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force.   CAP has three "Missions for America" that it performs: 1) air and ground emergency response as required to support federal and local needs, 2) a cadet program that encourages leadership development in an aerospace environment and 3) the development and deployment of aersospace education resources to America's schools.

CAP's 30,000 adult volunteers perform more than 85 percent of inland search and rescue missions in the continental United States as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center while simultaneously mentoring and teaching more than 25,000 teen-aged cadets.

Indiana Schools Group is an educational outreach program of Indiana Wing Civil Air Patrol that encourages aerospace education, leadership training and a healthy lifestyle through implementing CAP's Cadet Program in middle and high schools.

Indiana Schools Group partners with Indiana middle and high school teachers and parents to implement CAP's Cadet Program in local public and private schools as either an educational elective or as an after-school activity.    Schools Group uses a curriculum that emphasizes aerospace science, leadership skills, character development, hands on activities and a healthy, drug free lifestyle.  The Cadet Program curriculum is fully developed with textbooks and lesson plans providing "ready made" classes for instructors, but also providing flexibility based on individual schools needs and educational goals.
