It was the Monday after New Year’s Day and the city of New York was going back to its normal look.
Holiday decorations were being taken down by the city clean up crew, who were also still cleaning confetti and silly string from Time Square's big party to welcome the New Year.
All the schools were back in session and all the companies were back at work.
Meanwhile, at the Empire State Building, the disc jockeys including Micky Dolenz, who joined the station almost a year ago was there, and managers of the radio station WCBS were having a meeting about plans for the year.
"Ok, that concludes the agenda for what we have planned for the year so far," said Station manager Dave Logan.
"Great,” said Chad Brown, who was the head of all the radio programs, “Anyway, I have some wonderful news to report. The morning show's listener's poll is up by 25%, and it's all thanks to our great team.”
The managers and dj’s began to clap.
"Thank you” said Micky, “But I couldn’t done it with out the help of my team, Mike Fitzgerald, Bruce Goldberg, Karen Stewart and Mr. G"
Micky indicated his team and everyone clapped for them as well.
"Anyway,” said Dave, “I'd like to announce the first mega guests of the year."
Dave began to read off a piece of paper.
"And the guests are Davy Jones, Peter Tork and Mike Nesmith.”
Micky's eyes popped wide opened and almost spit coffee out of his mouth hearing the name.
"What?!” Micky finally said, “Is this some kind of joke?"
"Relax Mick, you don't have to worry," said Dave.
"Really?"
"Yes, I'm interviewing Davy," said Cousin Brucie.
"I'm interviewing Mike," said Dan Taylor.
"And I'm interviewing Peter, said Randy Davis.
Micky felt relieved.
"For a minute I thought you guys were planning a version of This is your Life,” he said.
"You were really worried there weren’t you?" asked Randy with a laugh.
"My stomach was actually beginning to hurt just thinking about it."
"I thought it had to do with that jalapeno popper eating contest that you and I had at the New Year's party," said Bob Shannon, who was laughing as well.
"You just complaining that I beat you by two," Micky laughed.
"Which reminds me, what do you guys have in store for the first anniversary show?" asked Dan.
"We're still deciding," said Bruce.
"All we know is, we're planning on a live show," said Mike.
"Well, if we have no more to discuss for the day, I guess meeting's over," said Chad.

On the ride home from the meeting, all Micky had on his mind was what he was going to plan for his program's anniversary show.
He also still couldn’t believe that his former band mates were all going to be in town at the same time for solo projects.
Though he wasn't going to interview them, he still found that news surprising.
Micky's stomach was bothering him a bit, but took a few deep breathes and felt better.
When the car stopped in front of his apartment, Micky got out, and thanked his driver.
"See you tomorrow Philip,” said Micky, “And thanks again."
"You have a great day Mick," said Philip, as the car pulled away.
Micky then walked up to the door of the building, put a key through a lock and it opened.
"Good afternoon Micky," said the doorman.
"How you today Preston?" Micky asked.
"Just well."
Micky then reached the mailbox, when he heard a voice from behind him.
"Well, Hell-o there," said the voice.
Micky turned to see his wife Donna standing there.
"Hi,” said Micky, giving Donna a kiss, “How long were you standing there?"
"Not long, I just got in myself,” said Donna, “By the way, I heard the show this morning, and it sounded great."
"Yeah, let's hope that the first anniversary show can pull off something bigger than just facts about chewing gum and jokes like how many dogs does it take to screw in a light bulb," Micky laughed.
The two got on the elevator to their apartment.
During the ride up, Micky told Donna about the meeting and that his former band mates are coming to town.
"So they're all in town, promoting their projects," said Micky, as he and Donna got off the elevator.
"I find that hard to believe too,” said Donna, taking the apartment keys out of her bag, So, do you have to give them any interviews?"
"Thankfully, no." said Micky, as the two entered the apartment. Just then, the phone rang. Micky dashed to answer it.
"Hell-o," he said in the phone. "Hey Brucie, how's it going? Oh really, when, oh ok, wait a minute, let me get a piece of paper and a pen to jot this down."
Luckily for Micky there was a pen and paper in front of him.
Ok, ok, ok, I got it, oh no, no trouble at all you're welcome, ok, see ya."
He hung up the phone.
"What was that all about?" Donna asked.
"I have to interview Davy," Micky answered.
"What?"
"Yeah, Cousin Brucie has a meeting at The Variety Club, so I have to take his place."
This made Micky really nervous, due to the fact he hasn't spoken to Davy in quite sometime.
The phone then rang again and Micky answered it.
"Hell-o Randy, what's up? Oh really, when, ok let me get that down.”
Micky once again picked up the pen and paper and wrote something down.
"Ok, I got it, oh no, I don't mind at all, you're welcome, ok see you tomorrow." He hung the phone up.
Donna can tell by the look on Micky's face that something was wrong.
"Is everything ok?" she asked.
"Not really," Micky answered.
"What is it?"
"Randy has to fill in for another dj, so I have to interview Peter."
Though Micky got to talk to Peter on the first day of the radio show, the two haven't seen one another since an incident that happened during the last tour.
The phone then once again rang, and Micky once again answered.
"Hell-o, hi Dan, oh man that's a shame, yeah you did sound a bit hoarse at the meeting. Oh no, I got it."
Micky then picked up the pen and paper and wrote something down.
"Oh no, no problem at all, you're welcome, you just get some rest, yeah feel better, see ya soon."
Micky hung up the phone.
"Let me guess, you have to interview Mike," said Donna.
"Yeah, Dan's sick as a dog."
Micky began to worry, causing his stomach to hurt him and he began to clutch it.
"Are you ok?" Donna asked.
"Yeah, just nerves,” Micky answered.
"Funny, I saw you holding your stomach like that yesterday too.”
"What am I going to do?"
"Well relax first, then find out when you have to interview them."
"Ok let me check it out."
Micky then picked up the paper and read it. As he did, his eyes popped as they did in the meeting earlier.
"Oh no no no!" he said.
"What the matter?" Donna asked.
"I have to interview all of them tomorrow and at the same time, 1pm."
Micky began to feel sick to his stomach all over again.
"You have to calm down,” said Donna, “Before this whole thing drives you crazy."
"Yeah, you're right," said Micky.
He took a couple of deep breathes and felt a bit better.
"Well, I guess I have to do what I have to do," said Micky.
"You're going ahead with the interviews?" asked Donna.
"Yep."

Early the next morning, Micky was leaving for the radio studio, when he found a note on the door from Donna that read...

Micky,
Good luck with the interviews today. Just calm down and just act like you're having a regular conversation with them.
Don't forget, you've known them a long time.

Love, Donna

The note made Micky smile as he walked out the door. Throughout the day, Micky continued to have the pain in his stomach, but he kept reassuring himself it was nerves, though he didn’t tell his co-workers about the interviews until the show was over. And when he did, he got quite a reaction.
"You're really going to go through with this?" said Mike Fitzgerald.
"I'll try," said Micky.
"Well, it's your funeral," laughed Ken the intern.
"Ha ha very funny."
"Just relax and be yourself," said Bruce Goldberg.
"I'll try," said Micky.
"It can't be that bad," said Karen Stewart.
"You didn't work with these guys for a number of years," said Micky.
The group wished Micky luck and left for the day.
Micky spent his spare time before the interviews in his office deciding what questions to ask who, listening to music that each member was promoting and trying to ignore the pain in his stomach that was coming and going.
Sometime later, Micky left his office to meet whoever was coming by the elevators.
"What's the worse that could happen?" said to himself with a laugh.
The truth was, there were many possibilities:
1.The guys could be on the same elevator and get into a big fight with each other
2.The guys could arrive at the same time and get into a big fight with Micky.
3.The guys could not only get into a big fight with each other, but with Micky as well.
The pain in Micky's stomach came back, and it hurt more than it did earlier.
"Not now, not now." Micky gritted through his teeth, and sure enough the pain went away. Just then, one of the elevators open and out walked Peter Tork. He greeted Micky with a very surprised, but polite smile.
"Hey, Micky,” said Peter extending a hand, “It’s great to see you again."
"Great to see you to buddy," said Micky, shaking Peter's hand.
"So, you're giving the interview?"
"Yep, big surprise huh?”
"Sure is."
Micky then pointed to one of the studio booths.
"I have to go make a phone call, but just wait in sound studio A and I'll be with you shortly," he said.
"Ok," said Peter, walking into the studio.
"Well, that solved part of my problem,” said Micky, “Now what to do if Mike and Davy meet up?”
At that moment, another elevator door opened and out stepped Davy Jones. He was surprised to see his former band mate greet him, but still acted business like.
"Hey," said Davy.
"Hey, yourself,” said Micky, “You're looking well."
"Thanks, you too."
"I guess you're in shock to see I'm giving the interview," said Micky.
"Took the words out of my mouth," said Davy with a laugh.
Micky had to laugh too. He then pointed to the studio booths.
"Listen I have to make a call, so just wait for me in studio B," said Micky.
"Ok then," said Davy, entering the booth.
"Now to wait for Mike," said Micky.
It didn't take to long, for at that minute, the last elevator opened and Mike Nesmith walked out.
"Micky?" asked Mike was in a state of shock and surprise to see his former band mate standing there, waiting for him.
"Hell-o Mike," Micky answered back.
Mike went up to Micky and gave him a handshake. Though Micky was still feeling a bit disappointed about Mike walking out on the group during a tour and that the two hadn't spoken in almost ten years, something told Micky that it looked like things were ok.
"It's great to see you again," said Mike.
"Same here," said Micky, who then pointed to the studio booths.
"I have to make a call, but go in Studio C and I'll be with you shortly."
"Ok,” said Mike, walking into the studio.
"Well, I got one problem solved,” said Micky, “Now how am I going to do the interviews?"
Micky thought he'd better come up with a plan, before he wasted any more time.
He then walked into studio A to start on his interview with Peter.
"Sorry that call took so long," said Micky walking in the studio.
"No problem," said Peter.
"So why don’t we get started."
"Sure."
Micky was about to press record on a tape recorder, when he came up with a plan.
"Uh oh, I think the batteries are low on this,” he said, “I better get fresh ones."
Micky then took the batteries out of the tape recorder, and headed to studio B where Mike was.
"Sorry that call took so long," said Micky, entering the room.
"Oh no, that's fine, I'm quite used to it," said Mike.
"Well now, should we get started with the interview?"
"Sure."
Luckily for Micky there was a tape recorder in the studio.
"Before we begin, I better get some fresh batteries for the recorder, I don't want it to die out during the interview," he said.
"You got a good point," said Mike.
Micky then removed the batteries from the tape recorder and left the room, heading to Studio C, where Davy was.
"Sorry that call took so long," Micky said walking into the studio.
"That's ok, I'm in no hurry," said Davy.
Micky then spotted a tape recorder, but before he could use his excuse that he gave Mike and Peter, Davy said something.
"I hope that tape recorder has fresh batteries, cuz you know it may stop in the middle of the interview." said Davy.
"You right, I'll go change them," said Micky, who then took the batteries and left the room.
As Micky rushed to the supply closet for batteries, the pain in his stomach returned once again.
"Come on, not now," he gritted through his teeth.
The pain stopped and Micky went in the supply room, got the amount of batteries he needed and headed back to the studios. He first went to Studio A. "Got the batteries,” said Micky, putting them in the recorder.
As he did that, he came up with another plan.
"By the way, can I get you anything to drink before we start?" Micky asked Peter.
"I can go for either some decaf coffee or Dr. Pepper, either one doesn't matter," said Peter.
"Ok, I'll be right back."
Once again Micky left and dashed into Studio B.
“Got the batteries,” he said to Mike, “By the way, can I get you a drink before the interview?"
"Sure, I'll have a cup of coffee," Mike answered.
"Coming up."
Micky then left Studio B and went into Studio C.
"Ok, I got the batteries,” he said to Davy, “By the way, can I get you something to drink before we begin?"
"Can I get a bottle of water, if it's not too much trouble?" Davy asked.
"No trouble at all."
Micky then left, and went to the station lounge, where the soda machines and coffee maker were at.
As he dashed in, the pain in his stomach came back, but Micky kept telling himself it was just nerves. He placed the water bottles and soda cans in his coat pockets and had a cup of coffee in each hand. Micky's first stop was Studio C.
"Here's your bottle of water," he said placing the cups down on a table and handed a bottle of water to Davy.
Micky placed the bottle for himself down as well.
"Thanks,” said Davy, “Hey, what's with the other drinks?"
Micky had to come up with an explanation.
"Oh, some of the other djs asked me to get these for them.” said Micky, indicating the cans of soda and coffee cups, “Which reminds me, I better get these to the djs."
Micky then left and went into Studio B.
"Ok, I got the coffee," he said placing the cups of coffee he got for Mike and himself on the table.
"Great thank you,” said Mike, “Say, what are those cans of soda for?"
"Some of the djs asked me to get these for them,” Micky answered, “Which reminds me, I better get these to them."
"Ok."
Micky then left and entered Studio A.
"I got the soda," said Micky, “Sorry it took long, but I had to get something for one of the other djs," said Micky, placing the cans of soda for him and Peter on the table.
"Oh, that's no problem." said Peter.
"Now, should we begin the interview?" Micky asked.
"Sure I'm ready," said Peter.
Just as Micky was about to turn on the tape recorder, Peter said something to him.
"Listen, I hope you're still not sore at me for what happened on the last tour and the whole National Enquire fiasco," said Peter.
Peter was bring up him quitting and getting fired during the 2001 tour and putting his side of the story in a tabloid magazine.
"I was a furious at first, but hey we all get angry and do dumb things, trust me I know, I've done it a lot," said Micky with a laugh.
That made Peter laugh too.
But while laughing, Micky was getting a bit of the sharp pain again, and tried to ignore it.
Then Micky pressed the play and record buttons on the tape recorder and the interview began.
Micky did just what Donna said in the note to relax and be himself, which is what he did.
Throughout the interview, Peter talked about how he got started in music, his past projects and up-coming ones with his band, Shoe Suede Blues, and his two man band act with his music partner, James Lee Stanley. The two even bought up some old Monkees stories and joked around.
In the middle of the interview, Peter's cell phone rang and was about to leave the room to answer it, but Micky stopped him.
"Don't get up, I'll leave," said Micky.
"Ok, thanks," said Peter, who was about to answer the phone.
Micky then shut off the recorder and left the room, heading over to the next studio to talk to Mike.
"Sorry that took long," said Micky, entering the studio.
"That's ok," said Mike.
Micky was about to sit and turn the recorder on, when Mike spoke up.
"Listen, I hope you're not still sore about the whole event that happened in England.
What Mike bought up was back in 1997, when the Monkees toured England and Mike was suppose to come to the U.S. with them, but backed out.
"I was kinda angry, I mean it would have been kind of cool for the four us going out there,” said Micky, “But then again, not all of us are too fond of touring. Even myself.”
"But you still go out."
"It beats sitting next to a bunch of rowdy celebrities at a basketball game."
Micky laughed as did Mike.
When Micky laughed, the pain returned, but he ignored it.
He then turned on the tape recorder on the interview began.
During the interview, Mike talked about how he got into music. his big break, how he got into the music video business and his brand new album that's coming out soon.
In the middle of the interview, Mike's cell phone rang and was about to leave.
"Oh, you stay and take the call, I'll leave," said Micky.
"Sure, that's fine," said Mike, answering his phone.
As he did, Micky left the room and headed to the next studio to interview Davy.
"Sorry that took long," said Micky.
"That's ok, I'm in no hurry," said Davy.
Just as Micky was about to begin the interview, Davy said something.
"Hey, I hope you're not mad for me stopping the last tour, but things just happened you know," said Davy.
"Oh I wasn't mad, we all have our things to do," said Micky.
"It could have been worse."
"What do you mean?"
"We could have almost ended up killing each other in the middle of a show."
The two laughed, but Micky felt the pain return and grabbed his stomach.
"You ok?" Davy asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," said Micky, who then turned on the tape recorder and began the interview.
During that time, Davy talked about starting out in the entertainment field doing radio programs in England, his time on Broadway, his horses and his current projects.
During the interview, Davy's cell phone rang and was about to leave, when Micky got up.
"You can stay here, I'll go out," said Micky.
"Great Thanks," said Davy, answering the phone.
Micky then turned off the tape recorder and left and was about to go back to meet Peter, when the door to Studio A opened and Peter stepped out.
"Listen Micky, I'm sorry to cut the interview short, but I have a rehearsal,” said Peter, “Maybe we can finish the interview tomorrow."
Just then, the door to Studio C opened and Davy stepped out.
"Listen Micky, I hate to cut the interview short, but I have to meet one of my band members at the airport,” said Davy, “Maybe we can finish up tomorrow."
He turned to see Micky standing there with Peter.
"What are you doing here?" Davy said to Peter, in a not so quiet tone of voice. "What am I doing here, what are you doing here?" asked Peter to Davy in the same type of voice.
"Micky's giving me an interview."
"No, he's giving me an interview.”
As the two argued, Micky kept thinking to himself how things could get worse. Just then, Mike stepped out of Studio B.
"Micky, I'm sorry, but I have to meet with the manager at Barnes and Noble to get ready for a cd signing this week," said Mike, who then turned to see Peter and Davy, still fighting and standing next to Micky.
"What are you guys doing here?" Mike said to Davy and Peter, in an angry tone of voice.
"What are you doing here?" Peter and Davy said to Mike in the same voice tone at the same time, then glared back at one another.
"Well, I was getting interviewed by Micky," said Mike.
"No, he was interviewing me!" said Davy.
"He was interviewing me!" said Peter.
The three then turned to Micky and glared at him.
"Well, I was, but you see, the interviews got tripled booked, so I've been going back and forth,” said Micky, trying to sound calm, “Now, if we can just cool it for a minute."
He was stopped by the guys.
"Oh typical of you Micky,” said Davy, “Always trying to play peace maker!"
"And making up stories too!" said Peter.
"I guess some things never change!" said Mike.
The guys then were about to head to the elevators, when Micky stopped them.
"What about the interviews?" Micky asked.
"Forget it!" Mike, Davy and Peter sound together.
Just then, one of the elevators opened.
"Forget it, I rather take the stairs then share an elevator ride with you guys," said Peter.
"Same here," said Davy.
"That goes double for me," said Mike.
Luckily more elevators opened and each of them had a separate one.
The guys left, leaving Micky standing there confused and quite upset.
And once again the pain appeared, and this time stronger.

Micky couldn't wait to get home, after what happened at the studio earlier. Witnessing how the guys reacted to meeting one another, and how they put the blame on him for triple booking the interviews. The pain in his stomach kept coming and going.
"You have a good day Micky," said Philip as the car stop.
"Yeah, you too Philip," said Micky, getting out of the car, holding his stomach.
"Hey, you ok?"
"Yeah, must have been something I ate."
Micky walked up to the door, took the key out his coat pocket, place it through the slot and opened the door.
"Hey Preston," Micky said to the doorman as he entered the building.
"Good afternoon Micky," said Preston.
He then noticed the look on Micky's face.
"You alright there?" Preston asked.
"Yeah, bad day, that's all," Micky answered, as he was checking to see if there was any mail."
He collected what was inside the mailbox and took the elevator upstairs. When he reached his floor, Micky got off and went to his apartment.
As he walked through the door, he saw Donna was getting off the phone. She looked up to see Micky walking in the apartment.
"So, how did the interviews go?” Donna asked.
"Don't ask," Micky answered.
"What happened, did you get into a fight with Peter?"
"No."
"Davy?"
"No."
"Mike?"
"No."
"All of them?"
"Actually, the interviews were great," said Micky, walking into the kitchen and took a bottle of water from the fridge.
"So what happened?" Donna asked.
Micky told Donna the whole story about going back and forth to interview the guys, how they met up unexpectantly and blamed the thing on him.
"Too bad I don't know the number of the hotels they're staying at, otherwise I can call and explain everything,” said Micky, “In fact I just may do that."
"That's a good idea,” said Donna, “But how would you know which hotels they're staying at?"
"Then I better start checking around. By the way, I think after make the calls, we'd better start packing."
"Why?" Donna asked.
"Because after today, I may not have a job anymore."
Micky was about to get the phonebook, when the pain in his stomach returned once again and it was worse than before.
"Aww," said Micky, clutching his stomach.
"Micky, are you ok?" Donna asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Micky answered.
"You’ve been having these pains too often. I think you better see a doctor."
"I'm fine; it's just the stress from today.”
Micky walked to get the phonebook, but stopped for a minute and shook his head.
"Whoa, got kind of dizzy for a minute," he said.
Then once again, the pain came back, causing Micky to drop to the floor in pain.
"Aww!" Micky yelled in pain.
"That's it, I'm taking you to the hospital!" said Donna.

The next day, Mike was at Barnes and Noble getting ready for his cd signing that was taking place the next day, Peter was at the BB King Blues Club with his band getting ready for their gig that was going on tonight and Davy was at Westbury, doing a sound check for his concert, that was tomorrow night. Though they were at different places, the three had one thing in common. They all wanted to put what happened yesterday behind them.
Little did the guys know, at the places they were at, the radios were on the oldies station.
"Do mind if I turn the radio up, the staff loves this station?" the manager of Barnes and Noble asked Mike.
"No go ahead," said Mike, though secretly he wanted to say no.
"I love this song, mind if I turn it up?" Mark the bass player in Davy's band asked, as they were setting-up for sound check.
"Doesn't matter," Davy answered, though he'd wished he said no.
Peter just wondered why the venue was playing the station in the first place. "And you just heard "Walk, don't run, a mega hit by the Ventures,” said Mike Fitzgerald, “Right here on Micky Dolenz in then Morning. But Micky is not here today, he's not feeling well," said Bruce.
"Yeah, his wife called me last night telling that he was rushed to the hospital yesterday afternoon, and that he was having some tests done."
"So, Micky, if they're playing WCBS-fm at whatever hospital you're at, we hope get better soon."
Though Mike, Davy and Peter were different places; they had the same feeling of shock and worry on their faces. They knew what they had to do.

Davy took a cab down to the city. He had a feeling of nervousness, and worry.
"Ok sir, that will be $21.27," said the cab driver, when they reached the stop. Davy paid the cab driver, thanked him and stepped out of the cab. He was in front of the Empire State Building. Davy had just entered the place, when he spotted a familiar person. It was Mike.
"Hey," said Davy, to his former band mate, whom he was surprised to see. "Hi," said Mike, who was just as surprised.
"Hey you two," said a voice. The two turned to see Peter standing in front of them.
"You guys just get here?” Peter asked.
"Yeah," said Mike.
"Me too," said Davy.
"Listen, about what happened yesterday..." said Peter.
"Forget, it wasn't your fault," said Mike.
"It was nobody's fault, not even Micky's," said Davy.
"How about that, we actually agreed on something for the first time in years," said Peter with a laugh.
Mike and Davy had to laugh as well. Davy then pressed a button for the elevators and one opened. This time, the three got on. When they reached their floor they got off and headed up to a desk.
"May I help you gentlemen?" asked the blonde receptionist.
"Is Mr. (Cousin Brucie) Bruce Morrow in?" asked Davy.
"I believe he is. I'll call him. By the way, can I get your names?"
"Tell him that a Mr. Jones, a Mr. Tork and a Mr. Nesmith are here to see him."
The receptionist gave the guys a funny look but call Cousin Brucie.
When he stepped out of his office, Cousin Brucie couldn't believe his eyes to see the guys.
"Wow, I don't believe it, you guys are here,” said Brucie, who was in an absolute state of surprise and shock, “This is incredible, I just wish Micky wasn’t...”He got cut off by Mike.
"We know,” said Mike.
"We heard about it this morning," said Peter.
"We just want to come by to ask if you or any of the other djs know which hospital he's at," said Davy.
"He's at the one just down the road.” Brucie answered; “We couldn’t say it on air. Other wise, it would turn into a big media circus."
"Thanks," said Peter, as he Davy and Mike were about to leave, when Brucie stopped them.
"Listen guys, I heard about what happened yesterday with the whole interview fiasco and it wasn't Micky's fault. Randy, Dan and I got everything a bit mixed-up.”
"That's ok," said Davy.
"We were mad at first,” said Mike.
"But we have no time to be petty with what just happened," said Peter.
The guys thanked Brucie for telling them where the hospital was and giving them directions as well. They then left and headed to the hospital.
The guys walked awhile, when they came to a sign that was black and white, with an H painted on it and an arrow pointing left.
"Yep, we're going the right way," said Peter, as he and the guys followed the arrow. And soon enough, they arrived at the hospital.
"Here we are," said Mike as he was about to enter, when Davy stopped him.
"Wait a minute, the staff is gonna ask who we are," said Davy.
"Let's just see what happens," said Peter, as he entered the hospital, followed by Mike and Davy.
The guys then stepped up to the nurse's station, when a brown haired nurse, who was just getting off the phone, looked up.
"Good afternoon gentlemen,” said the nurse, “Can I help you?"
"Good afternoon and yes,” said Davy, “Can you please tell us what room Micky Dolenz is in?"
The nurse picked up a clipboard and looked carefully at it.
"Room 247, second floor," she answered.
"Thank you," said Peter.
"Just a minute, are you family or friends?"
"Family friends," Mike answered. The nurse then handed the guys passes and pointed them to the elevators. The guys thanked the nurse and took the elevator up to the second floor. When the guys got off, they began to search for Micky's room.
"Rooms 231-260, go left," said Peter reading a sign on the wall. The guys went the way the sign told them. They walked down the hall, and began reading the numbers on the doors to make sure they were going the right way. And sure enough, they were. As they got closer, they spotted a woman standing outside one of the rooms.
When they got up there, it was Donna, who was standing outside the door the guys were looking for; Micky's room.
"Donna," called Davy.
Donna looked absolutely surprised when she saw Davy coming up.
"Davy, what are you doing here?" she asked as Davy gave her a quick hug.
"We just wanted to see how Micky was doing," Davy answered.
"We?"
Peter and Mike then appeared.
"It's great to see you again Peter," said Donna as Peter gave her a hug too. Donna then turned to Mike.
"Sorry, I don't believe we've met."
"Oh, I'm sorry,” said Davy, “Donna, I'd like you to meet Mike Nesmith."
Donna and Mike exchanged hand shakes.
"It's wonderful to finally meet you,” said Donna, “I'd heard a lot about you from Micky."
Mike then made an odd face.
"Don't worry, it's all positive," Donna laughed.
"So, how's Micky?” Peter asked.
"The doctor's with him right now," said Donna.
Just then, the door opened, and a man in his mid 40's with grayish white hair, wearing a lab coat and holding a clipboard stepped out.
"Mrs. Dolenz,” said the man, “Your husband is going to be just fine. The surgery went well."
"That's wonderful,” said Donna, “Thank you doctor.”
"Yes, luckily we we're able to get that appendix out before it caused any serious problems," said the doctor.
"Doctor, is it ok if we could see him?"
"Yes, but short visits, he needs the rest."
"You can go in first," said Donna.
"Thanks," said Mike.
"By the way, how did you guys know where to come?"
The guys explained to Donna how they met up at the Empire State Building, and Cousin Brucie explained and apologized what happened.
"That sure is some story,” said Donna, “Well, I'm going to call everyone to tell them the surgery went well. You guys go ahead."
"Thanks Donna," said Davy, Peter and Mike as they entered the room.
When the guys walked in, they saw Micky sound asleep, and had an IV in his arm.
"Micky," Davy whispered.
With that, Micky started a bit, opened his eyes and looked up at the guys.
"Oh, hi fellas," said Micky with a weak voice.
"How you doing?” Peter asked.
"Peachy," Micky answered.
"Say ,uh we came to see how you were doing, and we're glad your surgery went well," said Mike.
"I had surgery?" asked Micky, who was still sounding weak, but now had a small smile on his face.
"Yes," said Peter.
"Cool, what for?"
"Your appendix," said Davy.
"Cool," said Micky.
"Is he ok?” Peter whispered to Mike.
"He's just out of it from the operation," answered Mike.
"Oh."
"Actually Micky, we also came to say we're sorry for overreacting yesterday," said Davy.
"Yeah, it wasn't your fault," said Peter.
"Cousin Brucie explained the whole thing and best of all, you get to keep your job."
"Cool, what is my job?” Micky asked.
"You're a disc jockey for the oldies station," said Mike.
"Cool."
"So, you forgive us?" asked Davy.
"Yep," Micky answered.
"Really?" asked Peter.
"Forgive and forget, water under the bridge."
"Well, we'd better get going now, said Mike, "We're glad to see you're doing well, and you forgive us for the big mix-up."
The guys were about to leave, when Micky stopped them.
"Hey guys," he said.
"What's up, Micky?” Peter asked.
"Isn't this a nice room,?"
"It sure is," said Davy with a laugh.
The guys then left the room, and met Donna who was standing outside.
"How is he?” Donna asked.
"He's a bit out of it, but he's fine," said Mike.
"Say guys, I know you all have things to do while you're here, but I want you guys to stop by the apartment when Micky gets released."
"Sure," said Davy.
"Ok," said Peter.
"I don't see why not," said Mike.
Donna then handed each of the guys piece of paper with the name of the apartment complex, the address and directions on how to get there.
She thanked the guys for coming once again and they left.

Two days later, Micky was released from the hospital and was relaxing at home. He was on the couch reading over some paper work, when Micky began to chuckle.
"What's so funny?" Donna asked, as she entered the living room.
Micky moved his legs off the couch so she could sit down.
"I was just thinking of a weird dream I had in the hospital," said Micky, tilting his glasses.
"What happened?”
"Well, I was lying in bed, and I saw my former band mates and I was talking to them."
Micky began to laugh again, but it hurt a bit, due to his surgical spot. Donna however, wasn't laughing, but gave an odd smile.
"It wasn't funny?” Micky said.
"Actually, that really did happened." said Donna.
"What?"
"Mike, Davy and Peter came by after they found out you were in the hospital."
"When did they come?"
"After you had the operation."
"Man, just as I was beginning to feel better."
Micky took his glasses off and rubbed his eyes.
"I kind of hate to tell you this, but the guys are coming over," said Donna.
"What?!" Micky exclaimed.
"Calm down, the doctor said you have to be relaxed."
"Well I was until I heard this!”
Just then, the apartment intercom buzzed.
"Micky, Donna," said a voice at the other end. It was Preston. Donna got up and answered it.
"Hi Preston," she spoke into the intercom.
"I have a Mr. Jones, a Mr. Tork and a Mr. Nesmith here to see you," said Preston.
"Thank you Preston, you can buzz them in."
Donna then turned to Micky and said, "Looks like they're here."
"I wonder if the hospital can re-admit me," said Micky.
"Come on, they are your band mates," said Donna.
"Former band mates," Micky corrected.
Just then, there was a knock at the door and Donna went to answer it.
She looked through the key hole and opened the door.
"Come on in guys," Donna said, inviting Mike, Davy and Peter in.
"Hey guys," said Micky, trying to sound polite.
"Hey Mick," said Mike.
"How you doing mate?" asked Davy.
"Fine thank you," said Micky, who was beginning to relax.
"When did you get home?” Peter asked.
"Yesterday afternoon," Micky answered.
He cleared his throat and began to speak again.
"Listen guys,” Micky said, “About what happened the other day, I can explain."
The guys stopped him.
"You don't have to," said Peter.
"What do you mean?” Micky asked.
The guys told Micky how when they found out he was in the hospital and met with Cousin Brucie who explained the entire mistake to them.
"Wow, that's unbelievable," said Micky, after hearing the story.
"That we all met up?" asked Davy.
"That too, but something else," said Micky.
"What's that?" asked Peter.
"You guys were concerned about me, and I thought you really were angry with me.”
"We were at first, but I guess after hearing what happened to you, I guess we had a change of mood," said Mike.
"Thanks, that means a lot to me," said Micky.
"I guess that will be some story to tell the listeners when you get back to the station," said Davy.
"Oh no!"
"What's wrong?” Asked Peter.
"With the interviews and then my surgery, I forgot to plan the anniversary show," said Micky.
"Relax, it's all taken care of," said Davy.
"What do you mean?"
"Come with us and we'll show you," said Peter.
Micky turned to Donna and she said, “Go ahead.”
"Well ok," said Micky and he followed the others out the door.
As they were leaving, the guys turned to Micky.
"Uh, Mick aren't you forgetting something?" asked Mike.
Micky thought for a minute, then rushed back in the apartment and came back out.
"Thanks, almost for got my wallet and key," Micky laughed, “I'd look rather silly if I'd locked myself out.”
"You will look ever sillier with what you're wearing in 45 degree weather," said Peter.
Micky looked down at himself to see that he was only dressed in a thin long sleeved shirt, black jeans and socks.
He then went back into the apartment to grab his hat, coat, gloves and shoes.
"You know, you guys could have said something before I made an idiot out of myself," Micky said.
The guys then laughed and Micky joined in.
"So, where are we going?" Micky asked in the elevator as he was putting his shoes on.
"You'll see," said Peter.
When the elevator reached the main floor the guys off and headed outside.
"Will you hurry up, Micky?” Davy called out to his band mate.
"I'm coming I'm coming," said Micky, who was now tying his laces.
"We don't want to keep them waiting," said Mike.
"Them who, what's going on?"
Philip the driver was waiting for them by the cab.
"Glad to see you're feeling much better Micky," said Philip.
"Thanks Philip," said Micky as he followed Mike, Peter and Davy in the car and getting his coat on at the same time.
Philip then took off down the road.
"Can't you guys even give me hint to where we're going?" Micky asked, putting his gloves on.
"You'll know when we get there," said Davy.
He, Mike and Peter began to chuckle a bit.
"Why do I always have to be that last person to know everything?” Micky asked, placing his hat on his head and a scarf around his neck, "And who's the them you're talking about?"
"You'll see," said Mike.
"You may want to cool down, you're not suppose to get to excited you know," said Davy.
"Or drink coffee or eat spicy foods for two weeks,” said Micky, “By the way, how out of it was I when you guys came to visit?"
"Very." Mike answered.
"‘Cool, I had my appendix taken out’." said Peter with a laugh.
"‘Whoa, what a nice room’." said Davy, who also started laughing.
Mike joining in the laughing as well.
It took Micky awhile, but he joined in as well, until his stomach began to hurt from laughing too hard.
"I forgot I can't laugh too much either," said Micky.
After awhile of driving the cab stopped.
"Well, here we are," said Philip.
The guys thanked Philip for the ride and got out of the cab.
It turns out they were outside in front of the BB King Blues Club.
"What are we doing here?" asked Micky.
"Look up.” said Peter.
Micky looked up and was surprised to see a sign that read, "Micky Dolenz in the Morning one year anniversary, radio show party."
"Wow, how did...?" Micky asked the guys.
"Come on," said Mike as he headed for the front door of the venue.
The guys went inside the club and began to look around.
Inside, the place was getting set-up for another concert, but the guys continued to walk around.
Just then, the guys were approached by some familiar people.
It was Cousin Brucie, Bruce Goldberg, and Mike Fitzgerald.
"Hey, welcome back," said Cousin Brucie, shaking Micky's hand.
"How you feeling there?" said Bruce.
"A lot better thanks," said Micky.
"We can't wait to see back at work next Monday," said Mike Fitz.
"Yeah, the morning shows not the same."
"You bet, I can't wait," said Micky.
He then introduced the guys to his co-djs.
"Oh, by the way, these are my famous former band mates."
"We heard a lot about you from Micky," said Mike Fitz.
Mike, Davy and Peter then gave Micky a mock glare.
"Don't worry, it's all positive," Micky said with a laugh.
He cleared his throat and began to talk to Cousin Brucie.
"How did you guys get this planned so quickly?” Micky asked.
"With help from the guys," Brucie answered.
Micky turned to his former band mates and said,” You guys help put this together?"
"That's right," said Mike.
"Well, what about the tickets, it's too late to give those away in a contest."
"We're selling them on the website," said Mike Fitzgerald.
"And all the proceeds go to The Variety Club," said Cousin Brucie, "Davy came up with that one."
"Really?” Micky asked Davy.
"Yes, everyone loved that suggestion," said Davy.
"Wait till you hear Peter's idea," said Bruce Goldberg.
"What is it?" Micky asked.
"Well, you know how you're always doing that Monkee Minutes; I thought you should do a game show spoof on it. Give out some questions and let the audience guess," said Peter.
"That is a great idea."
"And I talked to some of the reporters I got interviewed by and I told them about this event, and they will do coverage on it," said Mike.
"Oh by the way, Donna made some calls to your band members and Coco your Sister and they will be here next week to start rehearsals," said Davy.
Micky couldn't believe what he was hearing, how Davy, Mike and Peter were helping out with the event.
"Can I talk to you guys for a second?” He asked his former band mates.
"Sure," said Davy.
"Ok," said Peter.
"Of course," said Mike.
The guys walked to another section of the club and Micky then cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Guys, first off, I don't know what to say," he said.
"About what?” Davy asked.
"How after you guys were furious at me, you did all this."
"Well, consider this has a way of saying we're sorry about what happened," said Mike.
"You know to tell you the truth, when I first got this radio, the first thing that came to my mind was I'd figure you guys would be well I should I put this...jealous," said Micky.
"Are you kidding, I think this is a big step," said Peter.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you're lucky," said Davy.
"Why?” Micky asked.
"You're proving to the critics that you can do more than just Monkees, and you're doing a great job."
A smile appeared on Micky's face.
"I'd better get going, I have to get ready for my book signing tomorrow," said Mike, looking at his watch.
"And I have a sound check," said Davy.
"I have a bus to Jersey to catch," said Peter.
The three then left, and Micky headed back to meet his co-djs, but not before he called out to the guys.
"Hey fellas," Micky called out.
Mike, Peter and Davy then turned around.
"Thanks, it means a lot. Thank you," said Micky.
Mike, Davy and Peter smiled then left.

The next Monday, Micky was back at work.
On the show, not only did he thanked all the fans who sent cards while he was ill, but thanked his co-djs, Cousin Brucie and some "outside" help for putting together the event the coming Friday.
And sure enough that Friday morning of the same week, the big event came.
There were lines to get in starting as early as 3am, but were allowed in at a quarter till 6, due to some snowy weather.
The event turned out to be a success. Prizes were given out during the game, reporters and photographers were there broadcasting segments and taking pictures, past guests were stopping by and phoning in, and the crowd was treated to a performance of Micky and his band.
Just as Micky was finishing up a question and answer with a guest, he went backstage to get ready for another set with his band, when he saw some familiar faces.
It was Davy, Peter and Mike.
Micky was incredibly surprised and glad to see them.
"What are you guys doing here?” Micky asked.
"We heard that this one going to be a heck of a show," said Davy.
"How did you get in?"
"The backdoor," Peter answered.
"We just came by to see how everything's going and it looks like it going along great," said Mike.
"Thanks to you," said Micky with a smile.
The three were about to leave, when Micky stopped them.
"Wait, stay for the party," he said.
"We'd like to, but what if we get spotted?” Asked Davy.
"Yeah, imagine what will happen if we do get noticed," said Peter.
"Maybe they will, said Micky, heading on stage.
"Micky, what are you doing?” Mike asked.
Micky went out in front stage and began to speak. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like you to meet the wonderful folks who helped put this thing together," he said.
He called Cousin Brucie, Mike Fitzgerald, and Bruce Goldberg to the stage.
The audience gave them a big cheer.
"And I'd like to bring out the outside help," Micky continued.
He then indicated the guys to come out.
They did come out and sure enough the crowd was in utter shock before breaking out into high energetic cheers.
"Bet you didn't see that coming folks," Micky said to the crowd.
"Hey since we're here, do you mind if we play for the crowd?"
The crowd roared.
"Would you guys like that?” Davy asked.
The crowd roared louder.
"Ok, then here we go," said Mike.
Mike and Peter each picked up a guitar, while Davy grabbed a tambourine and Micky sat behind the drum set and the guys began to play...
"And that's exactly what happened," said Micky with a laugh.
It had been a few months since the event and the surprise appearance of the other Monkees got such a great response that the guys decided to go on tour.
It was a citywide tour, taking the guys to major cities around America.
"That is some story," said Matt Lauer, who was interviewing the guys at one of their stops, which was at Madison Square Garden.
"I still find it unbelievable myself," said Davy.
"Well, looks like you guys better get going on stage, the crowd’s going wild, judging by the chants I'm hearing from back here."
"They're still going ‘We want the Monkees’?” Peter asked with a laugh.
"Yes, and thanks for the interview guys," said Matt.
"Our pleasure,” said Mike.
The guys shook hands with Matt and headed on stage.
The short tour was so successful that the guys put out a new album, had a big tour in the U.S., England, Japan and Australia, and got a movie deal.
After 40 years, the guys still continue to entertain the fans as solo artists and as a group.

The End

(P.S. This story is entirely fictional, but one never can't tell what the future can hold for the Monkees)

Here are the other endings...

Ending 2

The guys played their greatest hits and received a great ovation from the fans.
As the guys took a bow when their small concert ended, Micky kept hearing somebody called his name.
Just then the scene changes and he is now asleep.
"Micky, hey Mick, get up," said Mike, rubbing his shoulder.
Micky woke to see Mike, Davy and Peter standing there.
"You ok?” Peter asked.
"I'm fine,” said Micky, “By the way, where are we?"
"Backstage at Madison Square," Mike answered.
"Then everything did happened."
"What are you talking about?” Davy asked.
"Everything is exactly what happened," said Micky.
"Are you sure you're ok?” Peter asked.
"Man, I'd had the strangest dream."
"What was it about?” Davy asked.
Micky told the guys what happened in the dream from the interviews, to the anniversary show.
"That really was some dream," said Peter.
"It sure was," said Davy.
"You mean, that didn't happen?” Micky asked.
"No, don't you remember, Rhino put this whole thing together for the 40th anniversary," said Mike.
"Oh yeah."
"Come on, I hear the crowd calling for us," said Davy, leaving the dressing room, with the others following him.

"Oh, sorry, I must had been daydreaming," said Micky.
"Come on, we don't want to be late for the first meeting of the year," said Bruce.
"What's the meeting about?"
"Who are we having on as guests so far, events and how to improve the station," answered Mike.
"I think I may already know how it's gonna turn out," said Micky with a smile.

"Lift up your shirt," said Peter.
"The last time you guys made me do this..." said Micky.
"Just do it," said Davy.
Micky walked up to the dressing room mirror, lift up his shirt a bit and sure enough, there was a scar on the side of his stomach.
"How did I get this?"
"From when you had your appendix out," said Peter.
"Or you were so out of it that it's finally coming to you now?” Mike asked.
"Maybe," said Micky.
"Come on, We got an interview with Matt Lauer from the Today show," said Davy as he walked out of the dressing room followed by Peter and Mike.
"It really did happen," Micky said with a smile, then headed out the dressing room to meet up with his band mates.

The End

The Lion, the Monkees and the Wardrobe

By: Lisa and Mickys411    Rated PG

Mike and Micky were making so much noise in the pad, that nobody heard the click of the mailbox as it closed. The two Monkees were playing a game of keep-away from Davy.
"C'mon fellas, I really need that shirt tonight for my date!" Davy said, getting angry.
"Don't you have other shirts?" Micky teased.
"It's my lucky shirt!" Davy exclaimed, finally grabbing it from Micky's hand. "Every time I wear it, my date kisses me."
"Oooh, that's special." Mike laughed.
But Davy didn't laugh as he went back into his bedroom. Finally, Peter, who had been watching all this with amusement, remembered the mail.
"I'll go check on the mail." He told the others.
Peter went out, got the mail, and brought it in. He quickly sorted it out between the four of them.
"Hey, here's one for Davy." Peter smiled. "It's from a girl!"
"Oooh, what's it say?" Micky asked.
"It doesn't say anything, you have to read it." Peter replied in all sincerity.
Mike and Micky slapped their hands on their heads. Just then, Davy came out wearing his lucky shirt.
"Any mail for me, Peter?" Davy asked.
"Yeah, one from a girl!" Peter smiled.
"Let me have it." Davy said, but Micky grabbed it from Peter.
"Let's see what...Daria...has to say." Micky said, reading the name on the return address.
Davy grabbed it back from Micky. "I'll have that." He snapped and walked away.
Peter then noticed an official-looking letter from a lawyer.
"I got a letter from Dewey, Cheatham and Howe." Peter said, wondering what a law firm would want with him.
"Well, open it." Mike prodded.
Peter opened the letter and read the contents aloud.
"Dear Mr. Tork," Peter read. "This is to inform you that you have inherited a piece of furniture from your great-uncle Louis Tork. Please expect delivery within the next few days."
Peter looked at his friends. "I didn't even know I had a great-uncle Louis."
"Well, let's hope he gives you something nice." Mike replied.

The next day, a delivery truck arrived at the pad. The movers rolled into the pad a large wardrobe and left it in the living room.
"Which of you gentlemen is Mr. Peter Tork?" one of the movers asked the Monkees.
"I am," Peter answered.
"Sign here please," said the other mover handing Peter a clipboard, in which he signed.
"Well, enjoy your item.
Have a nice day."
The movers then left.
"Uh, Peter what is that?” Mike asked looking at the wardrobe.
"Looks like a wardrobe," Peter answered.
"You know, I think it's nice," said Davy.
"Yeah, beats the accordion I inherited from my Great-Grandma," said Micky.
"So, where should we put it?" asked Davy.
"What about down here?” asked Peter.
"There's no place to put it, we got too much stuff down here," said Mike.
"Does that mean we have to move it upstairs?” asked Davy.
"Most likely," Micky answered.
So the guys gently tilted the wardrobe and with Mike and Peter holding the top part and Micky and Davy holding the bottom, they carried the piece of furniture up the stairs.

"Be careful, guys." Peter said as they made their way up the steps, "This thing's heavy."
"Wouldn't be so heavy if Davy did his part." Micky teased.
Davy deliberately let go of one of the corners and Micky nearly dropped his part.
"Hey, don't do that?" Micky demanded.
"Then don't say I'm not doing my part." Davy shot back.
"That's enough you two." Mike said, "Davy, pick up your corner and let's get this wardrobe up to the bedroom."
Davy grabbed his corner and finally the Monkees had the wardrobe against the wall in the large bedroom they all shared.
Peter opened the door and looked inside.
"Sure is big in there." Peter remarked. "I can put a lot of my clothes inside it."
"It looks like it could hold all our clothes." Mike remarked in awe.
"Well, that's that." Micky said, "Let's have some lunch."
"Sounds good." Davy replied.
"You guys go ahead." Peter said, "I'll put some clothes in my new wardrobe."
"Knock yourself out, man." Mike said as he and the other two walked out of the bedroom.
Peter went over to his bed and pulled out a bag from the underside. In it were clothes that he had no room for in his dresser, so now they would go into the wardrobe. He grabbed a few coat hangers from the floor, opened the wardrobe and hung up some of his clothes inside. As he did so, Peter noticed it seemed cooler inside the wardrobe than the rest of the room.
"Why is the wardrobe so cool?" Peter said to himself. "It's a hot day today."
Shrugging his shoulders, Peter continued to place his clothes inside when he felt something cool hit the back of his hand. Puzzled, Peter looked at his hand and was amazed to see a snowflake melting on his hand!
"Where did a snowflake come from?" Peter asked himself.
Looking around, Peter had no idea where a snowflake could come from in hot southern California. Peter then noticed the interior of the wardrobe was growing even colder than before.
Pushing his clothes to the side, Peter was absolutely amazed to see snowflakes swirling around inside the wardrobe!
"What is going on?" He said aloud.
He stepped into the wardrobe, but instead of hitting the wooden back, the wardrobe seemed to extend several feet further than it should have. After a few more feet, the dark wardrobe became a snow-covered forest with icicles all around!
"The guys have to see this!" Peter exclaimed and turned around and went back the way he came. He jumped out of the wardrobe and ran down the stairs into the kitchen. Davy was making lunch and not too happy about it.
"Why do I have to make lunch?" He demanded.
"Because you didn't do it yesterday." Mike stated.
"Guys, guys!" Peter yelled.
"What's up, Peter?" Micky asked.
"The wardrobe, it's a forest!" Peter yelled.
"The what is what?" Mike replied.
"I was working in front of the wardrobe and it got cold and there was snow and I went inside and there was a forest..." Peter said in a jumble of words.
"Whoa, slow down." Davy said, "You went inside your wardrobe and found a forest?"
"Yeah, c'mon!" Peter said, dragging Davy after him.
The guys went up the stairs and back into the bedroom. Peter opened the wardrobe up and told the guys to look inside.
"Peter, it's just a wardrobe." Micky said, "I can feel the back of the wardrobe." He knocked on the wooden back.
Mike and Davy did the same. The forest was gone.
"But, I saw it!" Peter insisted.
"You're imagining things, Peter." Davy said, shaking his head.
"You're hallucinating from a lack of food." Micky said, taking Peter by the shoulders, "Let's go eat."
"But, but..." Peter said.
But the guys took Peter downstairs and made him eat some lunch.

After lunch, Davy decided to head upstairs for a nap.
"Don't forget it's your turn to make supper too!" Mike called up after him.
"Yeah, I know, Mike." Davy groused as he went into the bedroom.
Inside the bedroom, Davy muttered; "Sometimes those three treat me like a kid or their servant."
He looked at the wardrobe and after a second, opened the door. To his surprise, the temperature inside the wardrobe was much cooler than the rest of the room.
"What's this now?" Davy said, as something landed on his hand. It was a snowflake.
"How did this get here?" Davy asked himself.
As the snowflake melted, Davy climbed into the wardrobe and walked inside...

When Davy got into the wardrobe, he looked around.
He couldn't believe his eyes.
Not only was there mounts of snow on the ground and more falling from the sky, but icicles hung from the trees.
"Where am I?” Davy asked.
He began to walk around the unusual place.
"Hello, anyone there?” Davy called out.
No one answered, expect for the cries of a crow on a bare tree branch.
Just as Davy was about to walk further on, a creature approached him.
It turned out to be a large wolf, whose fur was the color of the sky above, and eyes as dark as the night.
When the wolf growled at Davy, it's white, sharp teeth were visible.
"Nice wolf, good wolf," said Davy to the animal.
Just then, a loud whistle came out from the distance and the wolf ran away.
"That was close," said Davy wiping the sweat from his brow, before it turned to ice.
However, the wolf came back once again, this time with a person behind it.
The person following the wolf was unlike anything Davy had ever seen!
She was a tall woman wearing a white gown with a white fur coat. Her hair was white as snow and her eyes were pale blue. On her head was a crown of icicles. When she saw Davy, she stopped short and looked at him for several seconds before speaking, the wolf sitting at her feet.
"Who are you?" She asked in a kind voice. "Are you human?"
"My name is Davy Jones, Ma'am." Davy said, wondering why she would ask such a question, and yes, I'm human. What's your name?"
"I am the White Queen, ruler of Narnia." She said regally, "Where did you come from?"
"I came from my friend Peter's wardrobe," Davy replied, "He inherited it from an uncle and..."
"You came from a wardrobe?" The Queen interrupted.
"Yeah, it sounds crazy, but here I am." Davy said. "This land is called Narnia?"
"Yes, a land of eternal ice and snow." She smiled, "But tell me more about the wardrobe. You came from there, you say?"
"It's in our bedroom back in Malibu, but somehow it opened to this place." Davy replied, starting to shiver from the cold.
"I'd like to see that wardrobe." The Queen said, "Could you show me where it is?"
"I can try." Davy said, "But as soon as I walked into here, it was gone."
"Let's look anyway," The Queen smiled, "Come, you can ride in my royal sleigh."
"Thank you, your Majesty." Davy replied.
The Queen smiled, turned and led Davy back to her sleigh, the wolf staying close to Davy.
The Queen's sleigh was another wondrous sight. It was painted white and chained to the front were two enormous Polar Bears! Next to them was a creature that was half-man and half-goat. When the half man half goat saw Davy, he bowed his head. Davy said hi to the man, but the man just kept looking at the ground.
The Queen and Davy climbed inside the sleigh and settled on a soft bench. Without a word, she wrapped part of her coat around him to keep him warm. Davy smiled his thanks as the half man half goat climbed into the sleigh as well and snapped the reigns connected to the polar bears. The bears growled, but got up and began to pull the sleigh through the woods.

Davy gave the driver the directions and Davy told the Queen about the other Monkees and how they treated him like a kid at times. Finally, they came upon the wardrobe.
"Here it is!" Davy exclaimed.
"Very good." The Queen said, "Tell you what. Why don't you bring your friend Peter with you next time?"
"Ok, can I bring Mike and Micky too?"
"Why certainly!" The Queen replied, laughing, "The more humans the better!"
"Why is being human so good here?" Davy asked.
"Oh, they're special in the scheme of things here in Narnia." The Queen replied, "In fact I'm looking for a human to take my place when I die. If you bring your friends to me, I'll make you my heir. How does Prince David sound?"
"Groovy, but what about my friends?" Davy asked.
"They can be your servants." The Queen replied, "They will serve you instead of you serving them."
Davy liked the sound of that. "Ok, I'll bring them."
"Very good." The Queen said, "Farewell, and come back soon."
Davy said goodbye and went back into the wardrobe.
"Boy, I'll be a prince." Davy thought happily to himself as he went through the wardrobe.

The Queen and the driver watched as Davy went back through the wardrobe. When Davy was gone, she gave an evil laugh.
"Foolish boy." She spat, "With the humans out of the way, I will rule Narnia for eternity! HAHAHA!"

As Davy climbed out of the wardrobe, he was about to rush downstairs to tell the guys about what just happened to him.
Suddenly, he stopped.
"Suppose they don't believe me," he said.
He remembered when Peter said about how the wardrobe was cold, but not having believed.
"Hey, there you are," Mike called out to Davy.
"What's going on?” Davy asked.
"We gotta rehearse for that gig tomorrow night at the Pineapple Palace," said Micky.
"Oh yeah, must had slipped my mind," said Davy.
"Did you check out the new wardrobe?" Peter asked.
"Oh yes, quite groovy."
Davy began to wonder what would be the perfect time to tell the guys about the queen.

Davy followed Mike and Peter downstairs and they began to rehearse for tomorrow night's gig. Davy's mind, however, was on his meeting with the Queen and not on the rehearsal.
"Davy what's up, man?" Mike asked, "You're singing off-key and missing your cues."
"I was, um...thinking about Peter's new wardrobe." Davy replied.
"What about it?" Peter asked.
Davy thought fast. "Could I put some of my clothes in it?" He asked, "It is rather large."
"Yeah, why not?" Peter replied, "I have all the stuff I want in there and there's a lot more room in the back."
"Like a whole forest?" Micky laughed.
"I know what I saw, Micky." Peter said, hurt.
"That's enough, Micky." Mike said to the drummer, "Now that that is solved, can we continue?" He said to Davy.
"Sure, yeah." Davy replied.
The rehearsal went better after that, but Davy still wondered how to tell the guys Peter was telling the truth about the wardrobe.

After rehearsal, the guys went up to their bedroom to relax. Davy and Peter went over to the wardrobe, and Peter opened its door.
"Bring your clothes over, Davy." Peter told him.
Davy walked over to the drawers next to his bed and pulled out some clothes. Then, he walked over to the wardrobe, pushed some of the hanging clothes to the side and placed his stuff on a small shelf on the side. As he had hoped, the wardrobe grew cold once again and a snowflake fell on his hand. He pulled out his hand and showed it to Peter.
"Peter look!" He cried, "A snowflake!"
Mike and Micky got off their beds and ran over.
"A snowflake?" Micky asked.
Davy showed him his hand, but the snowflake had melted.
"Oh, it's gone." Davy said sadly.
"I saw it!" Peter exclaimed, "There was a snowflake on his hand!"
Mike and Micky just looked at each other.
"For the last time, there's no forest in..." Micky said, but was cut off when a cold gust of wind rustled the clothes hanging in the wardrobe.
"...there." Micky finished, eyes wide.
Mike pushed some of the clothes aside and could feel the cold air coming from the back of the wardrobe.
"It sure got cold all of a sudden." He said quietly.
"Let's check it out." Davy said, beginning to climb inside.
"Wait, Davy." Micky said, "Let's get some warm clothes on."
So the guys put on the warmest clothes they could find, jackets, scarves and mittens, and climbed into the wardrobe.
They walked for several feet in total darkness then suddenly emerged into the snowy forest of Narnia!
"What did I tell you guys?" Peter said happily, "There's a forest in the back of the wardrobe!"
"I don't believe this." Mike said in awe as he looked around.
"Believe this then!" Micky shouted as he stuffed snow down the front of Mike's jacket.
Mike pushed Micky away, and soon the four Monkees were having a snowball fight. Their fun was soon interrupted by a small voice coming from behind a log.
"Psst!"
"Did you hear something?" Davy asked.
"No, I didn't, Davy." Peter replied, "What did you hear?"
"Psst! Over here!" The voice said again.
"It came from over there." Micky said, "From behind that log."
The four men cautiously walked over to the log and looked behind it. To their shock, it was a beaver, wearing a plaid waistcoat!
"Come with me, before she sees you!" The beaver said to them.
"He's talking." Mike said to the others, "A beaver is talking to us."
"Yes, I can talk," The beaver said with annoyance, "Now, please follow me before you are spotted."
"Spotted by whom?" Peter asked.
"The White Queen, that's who." The beaver replied, exasperated, "Now follow me!" He scampered toward a nearby stream.
The Monkees shrugged their shoulders and followed the beaver. Davy wondered why the beaver was afraid of the White Queen. She had been so nice to him!
The beaver led them over to a large wooden dam blocking up a frozen stream. There was a door sunk into the ground and the beaver opened it.
"In here, quickly!" He said.
The guys climbed down into the ground and followed a short tunnel and then climbed up into a round chamber. They were now inside the beaver's dam. He followed them into the chamber a few seconds later.
"That was close." The beaver said, "There isn't much that happens that the Queen doesn't know about in Narnia."
"Who are you and who's this White Queen you're afraid of?" Micky asked.
"My name is Bradley Beaver." He said with a small bow, and the White Queen rules this land with an iron fist. She has also threatened to turn anyone to stone who helps a human."
Davy looked at the beaver in shock. What was he talking about? The Queen had treated him kindly!
"Helps a human?" Davy repeated, "Why is that?"
"She does not like humans." Bradley said quietly, "They are a threat to her rule."
"That's not true!" Davy blurted out, "She was..." He stopped when he realized he had said too much. The others looked at him.
"How do you know about the Queen, Davy?" Peter asked.
"Just before rehearsal, I looked in your wardrobe, Peter." Davy replied, looking at the floor, "I found the forest and met the Queen. I didn't know how to tell you fellas, or convince you I was telling the truth."
"You are very lucky, young man." Bradley said, wagging a paw at him, "Usually she will kill any human she finds here, but why did she let you go?"
Davy didn't dare tell them he had promised to bring them to the forest for her, or her promise to him, so all he did was shrug his shoulders.
"I don't know, really." He lied, "I told her where I had come from and she let me go back."
Bradley didn't look convinced. The White Queen was devious. She must've had a reason for letting Davy go back home.
"She had a reason." Bradley said finally. "Known only to herself. Well, how about a cup of mint tea and some fish cakes?"
The guys agreed and thanked Bradley for his hospitality. As they ate and drank, the sound of wolves running nearby could be heard.
"Be very quiet." Bradley whispered, "The wolves can hear and smell quite well."
So everyone was quiet as the wolves, looking for Davy and the others, passed by the dam and went on their way.
Later on, Bradley talked to the Monkees about life in Narnia under the White Queen.
"It is always winter here," He said, "But never Christmas, or new years, and never, ever, spring."
"Wow, that's awful." Peter said sadly.
Davy wasn't listening. All he kept thinking about was the Queen's promise to make him a prince. He began to think Bradley was just jealous of the Queen. She had treated him so kindly and hadn't killed him. He turned to Bradley.
"Why does the Queen supposedly hate humans?" He asked with a smirk.
"Because they are the only ones who can summon Aslan the Lion." Bradley replied, "He who will bring us eternal spring."
"Yeah, right." Davy muttered under his breath.
"Well, it is dark and time for bed." Bradley told the Monkees.
"Wait, can't we go back to our pad?" Mike asked, "We have a gig at the Pineapple Palace tomorrow night."
"What is a gig?" Bradley asked.
"A job to play music, Bradley." Mike replied.
"Ah that is even better!" Bradley exclaimed, "Music is also something the white Queen hates."
"Great." Micky said sourly, "All the more reason to get back home."
"No, it is too dangerous even at night to travel back to your wardrobe." Bradley replied, "You four must stay here for the night. Tomorrow, I will take you to another place where you can be safely hidden until you can summon Aslan."
"Wait, we can't..." Davy began.
"Please, you four are the only hope for Narnia to be free of the White Queen's power." Bradley pleaded.
"Ok, I'll stay." Mike said after a long pause.
"Me too." Micky added.
"Me three." Peter put in. "What about you, Davy?" He asked.
Davy hesitated for a moment. He wanted to bring the guys to the Queen so he could become a prince, not be a herald for a Lion. Still, he didn't want the others to know that, so he nodded his head.
"I'm in." He said.
"Thank you." Bradley said, "Now, let's try to get some sleep."

It was a bit cramped in the dam, but the Monkees and Bradley managed to find a place to lie down to sleep. All that is, except Davy. When the others were asleep, he snuck out of Bradley's dam and went to look for the white Queen. He wanted to be a prince and nothing was going to stop him!

It was not only very cold, but quite dark that night.
In fact, it was so dark that Davy couldn't see anything.
Luckily, he found a book of matches in his pants pocket, so he would be able to see a bit better.
As soon as Davy lit the match, he could see where he was and began to look around.
When he did, he saw a branch that had broken off a tree.
Davy then placed the lighted match on the branch and used it as a torch.
Besides being able to see where he was going, but the glowing fire kept him warm to.
"I sure hope the queen's palace isn't too far away," said Davy.
Suddenly, he saw a glowing light in the distance and began to walk towards it.
As Davy walked closer, he got a better view of what the object was.
It was indeed the queen's home.

As Davy approached the Queen's castle, he noticed there was a lot of statue near the entrance. There were statues of tigers, lions, and other creatures Davy had never seen before. In the darkness, they looked even more scary. Swallowing hard, Davy walked over to the entrance where a wolf was sleeping. Thinking it was another statue, Davy started to walk by, when suddenly, the wolf came to life and looked at Davy with angry red eyes. Davy dropped his torch in fright.
"What do you want here, human?" It growled.
It took Davy several seconds to find his voice and he began to wonder if he hadn't gotten himself into something bad.
"I have a message for the Queen." He stuttered.
"What would YOU have to say to her Majesty, human?" The wolf growled again.
"I met her earlier today in the woods and she told me to tell her when I brought back my friends." Davy replied, shaking.
The wolf sniffed Davy's clothes. "Yes, I remember now." It said, "You were with the Queen earlier. Wait here."
"Sure, no problem." Davy said as the wolf slunk away.
It was no more than a minute later than the Queen came rushing over to him, wearing a white nightgown and a big smile on her face.
"Hello, Davy!" She said happily, "Come inside from the cold!"
"Thank you, your Majesty." Davy said gratefully as he did so.
"I'm sorry if Magar frightened you," The Queen said, putting an arm around Davy's shoulder, "I have enemies who would like to put an end to my rule."
"That's ok, your Majesty." Davy replied, his fears leaving him.
The Queen brought him into a chamber with a fire burning in a fireplace in a sidewall. Beside the fire was a small table and a pair of chairs, which the two sat upon. As Davy warmed himself, the Queen picked up a tray filled with small cakes that was sitting on the table.
"Would you like a Turkish Delight?" She asked.
Davy had never heard of a Turkish Delight, but he was hungry so he gladly accepted one.
"Thank you, your Majesty." He said and bit into the cake. It was filled with the sweetest fruit he had ever tasted! The Queen smiled and set the tray back down upon the table.
"Now, have you come to tell me you've brought your friends here?" She asked sweetly.
"Yes, they are here." Davy said, swallowing the last of his cake. "They are staying at Bradley Beaver's dam that's blocking the stream near where the wardrobe is."
"Excellent, excellent!" The Queen exclaimed, "Do they know you've talked to me?"
"I told them I had met you earlier, your Majesty." Davy replied, "Bradley wondered why you had let me go back through the wardrobe." Davy looked at the Queen. "He said you had a reason."
"Bradley Beaver is one of those who is not happy with my reign." The Queen said, frowning. "Always looking for trouble where none is present." She got up from her chair and Davy did the same. "Well done, Davy." She said, "We will leave shortly for his dam and I will get to meet your friends."
"Will you make me a prince now?" Davy asked.
"Not until I meet your friends." The Queen smiled, but to Davy the smile seemed fake.

As dawn was starting to rise, Bradley got up from his patch of leaves and went to wake the Monkees. They had to leave before the Queen got word of them being here. He gently walked over to his guests and gently nudged them.
"Wake up, it is almost dawn." He said quietly.
"Five more minutes." Micky groaned.
"No, we must be on our way." Bradley replied, "You four cannot stay here much longer." He looked over to where Mike and Peter were starting to stir, then noticed Davy was not there.
"Where is Davy?" Bradley asked.
That brought the other three Monkees wide-awake.
"He's not here?" Mike asked, looking around.
"Maybe he went outside for a walk." Peter ventured.
"I hope not, for all our sakes." Bradley replied. He went down into the tunnel, followed by the other three.
Cautiously, the beaver opened his door and looked around. All was quiet, and the sky was starting to turn pink.
"Do you see him, Bradley?" Mike asked.
"No, I do not." Bradley said as he opened his door further and walked outside. The three men followed him.
"Davy!" Micky yelled and the other two did the same.
"Quiet, you'll bring the wolves down on us!" Bradley said angrily.
"We have to find our friend, Bradley." Mike replied.
"Stop shouting and let me try to find him!" The beaver retorted.
The guys did so and Bradley examined the ground. It wasn't long before he found Davy's footprints in the snow.
"There is his trail." Bradley said, pointing to the ground, "It looks like he went into the deep woods."
"Let's try and follow them." Peter said.
So, the four of them followed Davy's trail for a few minutes, then Bradley called for a halt.
"What's wrong, Bradley?" Micky asked.
"Davy is walking right toward the White Queen's castle." The beaver replied seriously. "I know this route."
"You're kidding, right?" Mike asked.
Bradley shook his head. "No, I wish I were. Worse, Davy is walking of his own free will to the Queen. There is no sign of a struggle."
"Why would he do that?" Peter asked.
"I do not know." Bradley said, "Are you three friends of his?"
"We're like brothers." Micky replied.
"Yeah, like a little brother we like to pick on." Mike added.
"But he wouldn't betray us because we made him fix lunch would he?" Peter asked.
"We had been kinda rough on him these last few days." Micky admitted.
"We have no more time to waste." Bradley said, "We must leave the area now if you three have been betrayed."
In the distance, the howl of wolves could be heard.
"Come on!" The beaver said.
Quickly, the four went back to the Bradley's dam and gathered what food and supplies they could and left the dam. Bradley led them across the frozen stream where the wolves could not pick up their scent. Then, Bradley led them into the woods in the opposite direction of the Queen's castle.

Meanwhile, Davy was once again sitting with the Queen in her sleigh, wrapped in her robe and eating another Turkish Delight. The polar bears were pulling the sleigh as fast as they could and several wolves were around them, along with terrible looking orgs. Davy wondered why the wolves were needed and asked the Queen as such.
But all the Queen did was stare angrily back at Davy. Davy wondered if he had said something wrong and said no more.
Soon, they were at Bradley's dam and the wolves surrounded it, howling and growling.
"What are you doing?" Davy asked, "There's no need for all this!"
"Shut up!" The Queen snapped and got out of the sleigh, followed by a nervous Davy. She walked over to the beaver's door and stamped on it. "Open up in the name of the Queen of Narnia!" She shouted.
Davy wondered what was going on. Why this sudden change in the Queen? She was nice at first, but now, once she knew where her friends were, she turned mean.
"Open this door!" The Queen demanded of Davy. "I want your friends now!"
"Why, what is going on?" Davy demanded, getting scared.
But the Queen grabbed Davy by his jacket and pushed him toward the door.
"Open it!" She yelled.
Trembling, Davy did so and the wolves rushed inside. They came out a few seconds later and Magar reported to the Queen.
"They are all gone, your Majesty." He said, "But they were here not long ago."
"Search for them, find them!" She shouted. "They cannot be far."
The wolves ran off and the Queen looked at Davy, hatred in her eyes.
"So fool, your friends have escaped for now, but they will be found and destroyed!" She yelled.
"No, no, please don't kill them!" Davy pleaded.
"You humans are a threat to my rule!" She replied, "All humans must die! In fact, I should kill you now."
"Wait, your Majesty!" The half-man, half-goat said, "He might still be useful as a hostage!"
"Yes, he could." The Queen agreed and looked at the org guards. "Take him back to the castle and chain him up in the dungeon. I will continue to look for his friends."
The orgs dragged Davy away as Davy began to cry when he realized the evil he had done to his friends.

Meanwhile, the other three Monkees and Bradley made their way to the secret location where they could summon the Lion Aslan.

As Bradley and the Monkees walked through the woods, all the guys could think about was Davy.
"I sure hope Davy's ok," said Peter.
"Don't worry, I'm sure he's alright where ever he is," said Mike.
"I don't know, I got a funny feeling about something," said Micky.
"Let's just hope your friend didn't meet up with the queen," said Bradley.
Just then, they heard footsteps.
"Somebody's coming, hide!" Bradley hissed.
He and the Monkees hid in some near by bushes.
Though they were hiding well in the bushes, Bradley carefully poked his head out to see who was heading their way.
It turned out to be the queen's orgs and they were carrying something.
"I say, that man looks very much like your friend," said Bradley.
"Davy?!" said Mike, Peter and Micky altogether.
"Those bad creatures have Davy!" Peter cried.
"Quiet, if they hear you, all is lost!" Bradley said.
"We gotta save him!" Mike whispered.
But Bradley shook his head. "No, not now. There are too many orgs around. They are very strong and might take you prisoner too. Once we get to the secret grove, we can plot your friend's rescue."
Sadly, the guys knew Bradley was right. If they were caught, how would that help Davy? The orgs walked close by to where Mike, Peter, Micky and Bradley were hiding, but fortunately were not seen. Helplessly, they watched as Davy was carried back to the Queen's palace.
When the orgs were far away, the four of them came out of their hiding place.
"We must continue on, there's no time to waste." Bradley said.
The three men sadly nodded and followed Bradley further into the woods. Several times, they had to hide from the wolves searching the area, but by keeping to the brambles and streams, they finally found safety in a grove of trees.
Bradley thumped his tail several times on the ground and a few seconds later, other forest creatures came out of their hiding places. One of them was a beaver like Bradley who wore an apron.
"Bradley!" The female beaver exclaimed, "I'm so glad to see you!" She looked at the three Monkees. "And are those humans?"
"Yes, Bonnie dear, they are." Bradley replied, "They are going to help summon Aslan for us."
The other familiar forest creatures, rabbits, deer, squirrels and such came over to get a better look at the three Monkees. Other creatures such as centaurs also came to see them.
"Oh, this is wonderful!" Bonnie said to the Monkees, "Welcome to our Grove of Hope. We are so glad you came."
"Grove of Hope?" Mike asked.
"Yes, this is a secret area that the White Queen does not know about. Those who have displeased her, like my wife Bonnie here, live here in safety, hoping for Aslan to come."
"Who is Aslan and what will he do, if we're able to summon him?" Micky asked.
"Aslan is a great ruler who was cast out by the White Queen's magic." A deer said to him, "But she didn't do the spell correctly, instead of being cast out forever, Aslan can return if human beings play music and sing asking him to return."
"Then this land will know spring once again and he will rule with peace and justice." Another deer replied.
"So that's why the Queen hates us." Peter said.
The forest animals nodded in reply.
"But we don't have our instruments with us." Micky said.
Bradley motioned with his paw and led them over to the bottom of a tree. A fox quickly dug a hole in the ground to reveal a large box. The three Monkees opened the box to find two guitars and a drum.
"Groovy, now we can play." Peter said happily.
"Will you play for us now?" A squirrel asked.
"No, they need their rest." Bonnie replied, "It was a dangerous trip from the dam."
"Yeah, and our friend Davy is a prisoner of the Queen." Peter said sadly. "We couldn't play without him singing along."
Then after you rest, we can think of a plan to save him." A centaur said.

Davy shivered as he sat in his dungeon cell in the White Queen's castle. His ankles had been chained to a ring in the stone floor and his wrists were chained together as well. All he could do is think about the harm he had caused his friends. They could be dead right now because of him! All because he wanted a title and servants. He couldn't believe how stupid and foolish he had been. Now it looked like he would be dead soon too and he was glad of it. He didn't want to live knowing he had caused the death of his three best friends.
Suddenly, his cell door was thrown open and the Queen strode in. Davy glared up at her as best as he could.
"So, foolish boy, your friends have managed to escape my wolves." She said angrily. "If they were ever at the beaver's dam in the first place."
Davy smiled at the news. "Good for them." He said.
"While you were staying with the beaver," The Queen went on, ignoring Davy's comment, "Did he say anything about where they were going to go next, or what they were going to do?"
"No he did not." Davy replied. Bradley had mentioned taking them to a secret place to summon Aslan, but he definitely was not going to tell the Queen that.
"You had better not be lying, boy." The Queen snarled, kicking Davy's shin, "There are a lot of slow ways to kill you."
With that, the Queen stormed out of the cell, leaving Davy all alone again. Still he was happy his friends were yet alive--but for how long?

The Grove of Hope came alive again as another creature came inside. The three Monkees joined the others as they greeted none other than the half-man half-goat that drove the Queen's sleigh.
"Hello, Frank!" Bonnie said to him, "What news do you bring?"
Frank was about to speak when he saw Mike, Peter and Micky coming over to join the group. He gave them a big smile.
"Oh joy, you're alive!" He said, walking over to them. "My name is Frank Faun, I drive the Queen's sleigh for her."
"Have you seen our friend Davy?" Micky asked.
Frank's face grew grave. "Is he your friend?" He asked sourly, "I wouldn't call betrayal an act of a friend."
"What are you talking about?" Mike asked.
"Your friend Davy told the Queen about you three and agreed to bring all of you into Narnia. If he did, the Queen promised to make him a Prince and you his servants."
The three Monkees didn't know what to say. Frank went on.
"Then, last night, he walked over to the palace and told the Queen where you three were staying. I'm glad you three got away, I tried to drive the sleigh as slowly as I could."
"Davy told her about us?" Peter asked in shock.
"Yes, when you three were gone from the dam, the Queen wanted to kill him, but I said he'd make a good hostage so she spared his life-for now anyway."
"No, I don't believe this. Davy wouldn't do that." Mike said.
"He did, sir, I'm sorry to say." Frank replied, "But he's in the Queen's dungeon now."
"He should stay there then." A deer said angrily, "Imagine, betraying your own kind!"
"Well, I must be getting back before I am missed." Frank said, "Here, if you want to try and save Davy anyway, use this diamond, it identifies you as one of the Queen's servants."
"Thanks, Frank." Micky said.
Frank walked away and the grove became full of talk. Many of the creatures wanted to let Davy stay a prisoner but others said no. The Monkees walked away by themselves to try and sort out what Frank had said.
"He couldn't have done this willingly." Peter said.
"We had been kinda mean to him." Micky replied, "But to do this..." He let the sentence dangle.
"Still, he is our friend," Mike said, "We gotta try and save him." He took the diamond from Micky's hand.
"We can use the diamond to get in." Micky said.
"Tonight, we'll put on disguises and sneak inside the castle." Mike decided, "And hope Davy is still alive to be rescued."
"Yeah, so we can kill him ourselves." Micky said angrily.

"Come on, he's our friend," said Peter.
Micky took a deep breath and said, “You’re right Peter.
I sure hope Davy's ok."
"Same here, said Mike, But we need a plan and a great disguises.
"Maybe I can help," said Bonnie.
After sometime of thinking, the guys came up with a plan, and with the help of Bonnie making some costumes, Peter, Mike and Micky were ready to go save Davy.

As it grew dark, Mike, Peter and Micky put on the costumes Bonnie had made them. Within a few minutes, the three Monkees now looked like three orgs. They wore tattered clothing and robes, which they had rubbed in the dirt to make them even more awful.
"Now, you must dirty your faces as well." Bradley said as he slathered mud and dirt on their faces and hands. The guys winced at the cold mud being put on them and Micky looked at the other two.
"I'll never get my hands clean again." He joked.
"This is no laughing matter, Micky." Bonnie said seriously, "If you are caught, dirty hands will be the least of your problems."
"What will she do to us if we're caught?" Mike asked.
"Most likely turn you into stone." Bonnie said, "That seems to be her favorite way of disposing of someone."
The three Monkees gulped as several centaurs walked over.
"Are you three ready?" One of them asked.
"Yeah, as ready as we can be." Peter said.
The three Monkees climbed onto the centaurs' backs as the other creatures wished them well. There were still others who grumbled that Davy should be left in the dungeon, but still wished the men good luck.
Soon the rescue party was making its way to the Queen's castle. There was a full moon so they had to be extra careful not to be seen by the roaming packs of wolves roaming around. After several hours, they stopped by a thicket of bushes.
"This is as close as we can safely go." The centaur, which Mike was riding, said, "There's no more cover in which to hide."
Mike and the other two Monkees slid off the centaurs' backs. They looked through the thicket and could see the castle a short distance away.
"What an awful place." Peter whispered.
"It looks terrible even in daylight." The centaur, which had carried him, replied.
"We will wait here until daylight," The centaur who had been carrying Micky said, "After that, it will be too dangerous for us to stay."
"We understand," Micky replied, "And thank you for the ride."
The centaurs smiled in replied and the three Monkees began to walk over to the castle.
"No, don't walk, you must lurch or drag your feet." One of the centaurs said, "You cannot walk like a human."
So the three Monkees lurched and stumbled their way over to the castle. As they got closer, there was more activity near the entrance. There were bands of orgs, wolves, and other nasty creatures going in and out of the front gate.
"I wonder why the commotion?" Peter wondered.
"They're probably looking for us, Peter." Mike said, "I had hoped it would be quiet, but we have to take our chances." He pulled out the diamond from his robe. "Let's go."
The three Monkees, keeping their heads down, walked over to the front gate, where a Minotaur was keeping guard. He looked at the Monkees.
"Who are you three? I've never seen you here before." He demanded.
Mike held out the diamond in his dirty hand. "We have been sent here to replace others so that they can look for the humans." He said in a low growl.
The Minotaur looked at the diamond. "Very well." He said and let them pass.
Once they were inside the gate, they let out their breaths.
"Wow, that guy's got bad breath." Micky whispered.
"Let's go see Frank." Mike said, "Bradley told us where his quarters are."
So the three walked over to a small hut near the stables and found Fred asleep. Mike poked him awake.
"Ahh, don't hurt me!" Frank cried.
"It's us, Frank." Micky said. "Bradley said you'd help us."
"Yes, I shall. Glad you are here, my friends." He said, "I will show you where Davy is held."
So, keeping to the shadows, the four went into a side door of the castle and went inside. They found a door leading downstairs and the three Monkees went down.

Davy found sleep impossible in his dark cell. First, it was because the floor was cold, then it was the thoughts of his friends, who no doubt hated him by now. It was also the screams of the other unlucky residents being tortured by the orgs that also kept him from sleep.
"I'll probably be next." Davy thought to himself.
Just as that gloomy thought crossed his mind, he heard some of the orgs talking outside his cell.
"What do you want?" One of them demanded.
"We want the human traitor." Another org said, "We want to have a little fun with him."
"Yeah, he's so small and weak, he'll scream easily." Another said.
"Very well, but not to much fun." Another org said, "The Queen wants him alive for now."
The door of Davy's cell opened and three orgs came in. Davy had heard every word and now shrank back in fright upon seeing them.
"No please, leave me alone!" Davy begged.
"So you're the one who'd betrayed his friends, eh?" One of them sneered, "Oh this will be fun."
"We don't like traitors." Another one said.
The orgs unchained his ankles and wrists, then chained Davy's wrists behind his back and dragged him out of the cell.
"Come along, human." One of the orgs said roughly, "We have plans for you."
"Please no, don't hurt me, I didn't mean to hurt my friends!" Davy cried.
The orgs dragged Davy over to a corner of the dungeon.
"But you did, didn't you?" Another org said as the three surrounded him, "They had been your friends for years, right?"
"Yes, they were." Davy said, beginning to cry. "I was a fool, I wanted to be a prince and have them be my servants."
"But now you're in trouble." A second org said.
"Big trouble." The third org added.
Davy nodded, tears coming down his cheeks, "And now my friends hate me." He sobbed. "I wish I could tell them how sorry I am."
"Why don't you do so now, Davy?" An org asked gently.
Davy looked up as the orgs pulled down their hoods. It was none other than Mike, Peter and Micky! Davy could only look at them in shock.
"Well, Davy?" Peter asked.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please forgive me!" Davy cried, trying to hug them, but couldn't with his hands chained behind him.
The other three hugged Davy instead and told him it was ok, that they forgave him. After several seconds, they broke apart.
"We can't stay here long." Mike said as he unchained Davy, “We have to get going.”
They gave Davy an extra set of rags to wear and quickly left the dungeon. Frank was waiting for them and he led them over to the palace gate.
"Goodbye and good luck." He said.
As the Monkees left the gate, however, the Minotaur stopped them.
"Hey, there were three of you before, now there are four!"
"He's just coming along for the ride." Micky said in a rough voice as they began to walk away.
The creature just stared at them as they walked away from the castle, their hearts in their mouths. Soon, they found the centaurs and they quickly went back to the Grove of Hope.
Not long after the Monkees left, three orgs, real ones this time, came over to the orgs guarding Davy's cell.
"We want the human." One of the orgs told them.
"It's his turn for pain." Another org said.
"You are too late." One of the org guards said, "Three of our brethren took him to the torture chamber."
The new arrivals just stared at the other orgs.
"What are you talking about?" One of them said, "No one brought the human into the chamber!"
"We just came from there!" Another put in.
"What!" The guards exclaimed, getting upset.
The orgs quickly searched the dungeons and the torture chamber, but neither Davy nor the orgs that took him were anywhere to be found.
"We must tell the Queen!" Of the orgs said.
"YOU tell her!" Another snapped back, "I do not wish to be turned to stone!"
"Neither do I!" Another shouted
So while the orgs argued about who was going to tell the Queen the bad news, the Monkees made their way from the castle.

When the Monkees returned to the woods, they were greeted by Bradley, Bonnie and all the other animals.
Bonnie took care of Davy's wounds and then gave him and the other Monkees some tea to warm up from their long and cold journey.
"We have good news," said the deer.
"Aslan is coming!" cried a squirrel.
"Really?" Peter asked.
"Yes, so we must prepare for his arrive," said the fox.

After hearing Aslan was coming, the Monkees quickly got ready to perform. The guitars that had been buried for so long were out of tune, so Peter and Mike quickly cleaned them up and tuned them, while Micky tightened the drum skin on his drum. Davy simply sat on a rock and watched his band mates work. He still felt very sorry for what he had done and very thankful that he had such good friends. They had risked their lives for him despite his betrayal.
Davy sighed and looked at the ground, blinking back tears. How could he have been so such a fool to listen to the queen, and to betray such good friends? Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking up, Davy saw Mike looking down at him.
"It's ok, Davy." He said, giving Davy's shoulder a little squeeze, "It really is."
Davy forced a smile and wiped a tear from his eye.
"Are we ready to rehearse?" He asked quietly, not daring to speak too loud if his voice should break.
"Ready when you are." Peter smiled, sitting down next to him.
Davy smiled back, while Mike sat down on the other side of Davy. Micky sat down across from Davy and the four began to rehearse for Aslan.
"Oh, I could hide, beneath the wing of a bluebird as she sings," Davy sang, his voice breaking just a little, "The six o'clock alarm would never ring..."

Back at the White Queen's castle, an unlucky org was sent over to the Queen's chambers to tell her that Davy had escaped. But to his utter shock, the Queen seemed delighted.
"So he is gone, eh?" She smiled, looking in her crystal ball.
"Yes, your Majesty." The org replied, "His human friends disguised themselves like us and took him away."
Another org arrived dragging a frightened Frank with him.
"Your Majesty," He said, throwing Frank to the ground, "This faun was seen leading the humans out of the castle grounds."
"I didn't know it was them, honest, your Majesty!" Frank stuttered.
But the Queen simply took her magic wand, pointed it at the Faun and turned him into stone. She put her wand down and continued to look into her crystal ball. After several seconds, the Monkees, rehearsing for Aslan's arrival, appeared in view. Quickly, she turned the sound down so she wouldn't hear the music, then looked up at the orgs.
"We have no time to lose." She said, "I now know where they are. Get my sleigh ready and gather all of my army together for battle."
"You know where they are, your Majesty?" The first org asked.
"I do now. The little human once again betrayed his friends and he doesn't even know it." She said, standing up and looking at the stone faun, "And put this statue with the rest of my collection. Soon those humans will join him." The Queen laughed as the orgs left to do her bidding.

Back at the grove, the Monkees felt they were ready to perform. The animals gathered around them and the guys began to play music.
"I thought love was only true in fairy tales," Micky sang, "meant for someone else, but not for me..."
The Monkees played several happy, upbeat songs for the animals in the grove, I'm a believer, Daydream Believer, Randy Scouse Git, Star Collector, Sunny Girlfriend and many others.
As they played, the snow around them began to melt! For the first time any of the animals could remember, they saw grass on the ground. Flowers also began to appear and bloom. The trees around them were also beginning to grow leaves.
"You've done it, you've done it!" Bradley shouted as the Monkees finished, You've broken the White Queen's hold in Narnia!"
Everyone cheered as they watched the land green up around them in an ever growing circle.
"Our troubles are not over yet." Bonnie reminded the crowd, "Aslan has not arrived and the Queen is still powerful."
"But he will be." A deer said confidently, "And he will defeat the Queen once and for all!"
Everyone cheered again, until a squirrel rushed over and climbed a tree branch hanging over the crowd.
"Everyone take shelter!" The Squirrel yelled as loud as it could, "The Queen and her army is coming!"
"That's impossible!" Bradley shouted, "How could she know where we are?"
"We were very careful to cover our tracks." A centaur said.
The Monkees rushed over to the edge of the grove and could see the Queen, driving her sleigh, leading a large army of minotaurs, orgs, bears, trolls and other evil creatures directly toward them! They all wore battle gear and carried sharp weapons.
"It's her all right!" Davy shouted to the animals, "Take cover!"
Some animals dove into the brush and hid while others took to the sky and flew away, promising to look for Aslan. The larger animals, like the centaurs, set up thorny brambles around the entrance to try and keep the Queen and her army out.
"That won't hold her." A centaur said, shaking his head. "We'll be turned to stone long before Aslan can come.
"Wait a minute." Micky said and turned to Bradley, "Didn't you say the Queen didn't like music?"
"Yes, that's true." The beaver replied, smiling as he caught on to what Micky was thinking.
"Let's serenade her Majesty, shall we?" Micky asked the other Monkees.
The Monkees quickly got there instruments and began to play as loud as she could.
"She knows her mind alright, your Auntie Grizelda!" Peter sang as loud as he could, "She said she know my kind she might, maybe so..."
The Queen heard the music and called a halt to her army, now just outside the grove. She put her hands to her ears.
"Stop that racket!" She shouted, but the Monkees continued to play as loud as they could.
Finally the Queen ordered her army to surround the grove and keep their distance. The Queen herself moved out of earshot of the music.
"Hurray for the Monkees!" The animals shouted, "They've saved us!"
"We have to hold out until Aslan comes." Mike said, "I hope that is soon."
"The land is turning greener and the air warmer, Mike." Bonnie told him, "It won't be long."
"We'll just start playing if she comes close, that's all." Peter added.
A little while later, a troll waved a white flag of truce. Bradley motioned for him to approach the bramble, which he did. The troll looked with contempt at the animals inside the grove.
"The Queen wishes to speak with you all under a flag of truce." The troll said.
"We don't wish to speak to her." Bonnie shot back.
"Wait, Bonnie." Bradley said to his wife, then looked at the troll. "Tell her she can come over, alone and without her wand."
The troll growled and walked back to where the Queen had set up camp.
"Why do you want to talk to the Queen, Bradley?" Bonnie asked. "She's only going to want our surrender."
"I know, but we must do all we can to buy time." Her husband replied.
The White Queen marched over, occasionally getting stuck in the mud from the melted snow, and without her wand.
"Well, I'm finally glad to meet the four humans who've caused me so much trouble." The Queen smiled evilly.
"Pleasure's all yours, Queenie." Davy retorted.
"What do you wish to say, your Majesty?" Bradley asked. "You must know they've summoned Aslan by now and your power here is coming to an end."
"Oh Really, beaver?" The Queen replied, "I do not see the big cat anywhere."
"He'll be here." Mike stated firmly.
"But will you be alive to see him, human?" The Queen smiled evilly once again, "Aslan may drive me away, but my army could kill you all before that. But..." She added quickly, "I'm prepared to leave you all alone, and let Aslan come back without a fight on one condition."
"What is that?" Bonnie demanded.
"I simply want the human traitor, the one called Davy." The Queen replied, "Let me have him and I'll leave Narnia in peace."
"Never." Mike, Peter and Micky replied as one.
"Why do you protect that boy?" The Queen replied, "He has betrayed you not once, but twice!"
"Twice?" Mike replied, looking at Davy, "How could he?"
The Queen looked at Davy with cold eyes.
"Remember our conversation in the dungeon?" She asked, "When I kicked you in the shin? It was then that I planted a magic crystal on your pant leg which I followed that led me right to this place!"
Davy looked at his leg and found a small red crystal embedded in his pant leg. He pulled it out and threw it at the Queen.
"There's your crystal, you snake!" Davy shouted at her.
The Queen laughed and looked at the rest of the animals.
"Let me have the human traitor and I'll let all of you live. You have one hour to decide." With that, she strolled back to her camp.
The animals of the grove said nothing as the Queen went back to her camp. Then, the grove came alive with talk about the Queen's proposition.
"She said she'll let us live!" Said a raccoon.
"You can't trust her!" Replied a opossum.
"Stop!" Bradley shouted above the din, "This is just what the Queen wants! She wants to sow discord among us, so we'll fight each other instead of her!"
Everyone was silent at that. Mike stood next to the beaver.
"He's right. We must prepare for a fight while we wait for Aslan to come." He said.
"Why isn't he here?" Cried a deer.
"He'll come, he'll be here!" Bonnie told her.
So for the next hour, everyone, including the Monkees got ready for the Queen's army. They gathered rocks for throwing, and branches for clubs, they strengthen the barriers and did whatever they could to defend themselves against the Queen. All around them, outside the grove, the Queen's army was also getting ready for battle; adjusting armor and sharpening swords.
As the hour was almost up, and no sign of Aslan, Micky, Peter, Mike and Bradley met together.
"We've done what we were supposed to do." Peter said, "Why isn't Aslan here?"
"Aslan was banished far away from here, Peter." Bradley replied, "But I know he has heard your music and has felt the land become alive again."
"Hey, where's Davy?" Micky asked.
They looked around, but didn't see him.
"You don't suppose he...?" Mike asked.
The same answer hit them all at once and the three Monkees raced over to the entrance to the clearing. Once there, they found Davy trying to climb over the barrier. The three grabbed Davy and pulled him down and away from the entrance.
"Let me go! Let me go!" Davy shouted at his friends.
"What do you think you're doing?" Mike demanded.
"I've caused enough trouble for everyone!" Davy yelled, "I won't let anyone else be harmed because of me!" Davy broke free and tried to climb the barrier once more, but his band mates grabbed him and tied him to a nearby tree.
"Do you think the Queen will keep her promise, Davy?" Peter asked him as he tied a knot, "She lied to you before and there's no reason for her not to do it again."
Davy hung his head and quit struggling.
"I don't want you three harmed." Davy said quietly, "I don't want anyone hurt."
"No one is going to be hurt except the Queen and her minions, young man." A deep booming voice said out of nowhere.
Everyone looked around to find the owner of the voice.
"Aslan?" Bonnie asked.
Suddenly, the middle of the grove glowed a brilliant yellow and when the light was gone, a tall magnificent lion was standing there. It was Aslan, the true ruler of Narnia!
Everyone cheered at the sight of the lion. Aslan smiled and bowed his mane head at everyone.
"Welcome back, King Aslan." Bradley said, bowing.
The great lion chuckled. "It is good to be back brave beaver."
"Boy are we glad to see you, sir." Peter said.
"And I am glad to see you young human, and your human friends." Aslan replied with a smile. "I am grateful to you four for playing your music and permitting my return."
"Glad to be of service, sir." Micky said.
"Does this mean you can untie me now?" Davy asked from the tree.
Everyone laughed as Mike untied Davy and let him go. But the merriment was cut short as a blast of horns signaled the charge of the Queen's army.
Everyone rushed over to the entrance of the grove and could see the Queen and her army marching toward them. On the sides, the terrible army was also closing in. The going was a little slow, due to the wet ground from the melted snow, but it was only a matter of minutes before they would be attacking.
"Here they come!" Several animals cried in fear.
"Do not worry." Aslan said to them gently, "They will soon be running the other way. Now when the Queen is close," He continued, looking at everyone, "Open up this barrier for me and cover your ears."
Everyone nodded their heads and said they would obey.
Suddenly, archers began to fire flaming arrows inside the grove! Several of them hit the trees and they began to catch fire. The centaurs rushed to put them out. Soon the Queen was near the entrance.
"Now!" Aslan commanded.
The Monkees opened up the barrier to the approaching army, then covered their ears, along with everyone else. At the sight of the great lion, the Queen and the orgs next to her stopped in shock.
"ASLAN!" She screamed, "You may have returned, but I will drive you away once again!"
In response, Aslan opened up his mouth and let out a huge roar! The sound was so powerful it knocked the Queen and her orgs to the ground. The minotaurs, trolls and the other creatures behind them dropped their weapons, turned on their heels and ran for their lives! The other fighters surrounding the grove stopped in their tracks, afraid to go on. The White Queen, however, got up from the ground, a look of pure fury in her eyes. She pulled out her magic wand.
"Attack!" She screamed, but the orgs were holding back.
"Attack or I'll turn you all into stone!" She shouted.
That encouraged the remains of the Queen's army and they began to charge into the grove. The orgs slashed at the wooden barriers with their axes and pushed their way inside the grove from all sides.
It was a scene of bedlam as the Queen and her army fought Aslan's animals. Aslan knocked several orgs to the ground with one swipe of his mighty paw, while the other animals, including the Monkees, fought back with clubs and rocks. The Queen turned several animals to stone, and had Peter in her sights when Davy swung with his club and knocked the wand out of her hand. But the Queen was far from defenseless. Out of her robe she pulled out a knife and came after Davy. He swung at her, but she ducked. Davy backed away, but his foot caught on a tree root and he fell down, his club knocked from his hand. Smiling evilly, the Queen brought down her knife, but just then Aslan let out a roar and jumped on the Queen, crushing her beneath his weight.
Upon seeing the Queen dead, the remaining members of her army turned and fled the grove. The animals cried and cheered and hugged each other. Peter came over to Davy and gave him a big hug.
"Thanks, Davy. You saved my life." He said.
Davy returned the hug. "Just returning the favor, mate." He said as Mike and Micky came over and the four of them embraced in a group hug.
As the cheering died down, the mood turned somber as the remaining animals took care of the injured and cried over those turned to stone. To everyone's horror, Bonnie was now made of stone too.
"Oh, my sweet Bonnie." Bradley cried as he hugged her.
The Monkees cried too. They felt sorry for Bradley as he had done so much for them. Aslan came over.
"Do not mourn, Bradley." The lion said softly, "The Queen is dead so now her magic can be undone."
So saying, Aslan breathed on Bonnie and in seconds, she was alive and moving once again, the spell broken!
Bradley and Bonnie cried and embraced one another and the Monkees too. Aslan went around the grove and breathed on all who had been turned to stone. Soon the mood was cheerful again as the animals were reunited with their loved ones. Aslan stood up and got everyone's attention.
"Now you may all go back to your homes in peace." He said, "The orgs, trolls, wolves and the Queen's other evil creatures will no longer bother you."
Everyone cheered again as Aslan turned to the Monkees.
"I cannot thank you four humans enough for what you have done." He said, smiling brightly, "Though what I can do now is make the four of you Lords of the Kingdom of Narnia!" He gently laid a paw on each of their shoulders.
"Thank you, your Majesty." Micky replied.
"Now it is time to reclaim my castle." Aslan said, "Come, climb onto my back and we will travel there."
So the Monkees got onto his back and with a huge leap into the air, Aslan and the Monkees soon arrived back at the Queen's former castle. The snow around the castle was just beginning to melt. Most of the orgs guarding the castle had fled upon seeing Aslan, those that didn't, were quickly scared away with a roar from the lion.
Entering the grounds, Aslan breathed on the stone statues and within seconds, they were moving around, laughing and giving thanks to Aslan. There were also some other humans freed too, those the Queen had captured before. The lion and the Monkees moved through the castle, chasing away any lingering pests and freeing more statues. In a large room, the Monkees found Frank the faun and he too was soon free from his stony imprisonment.
"Oh, thank you, thank you." Frank said gratefully.
"Thank you, Frank." Mike said, "For helping us free Davy."
They all went down to the dungeons, where they freed the prisoners and chased out the remaining orgs.
"Now, I will be able to live here again." Aslan smiled.
Soon, the other animals arrived and began to help clean the castle and stock it with food. A few days later, there was a great feast in honor of Aslan's return and of course the Monkees. All over Narnia, the snow had melted and it was once again warm and sunny everywhere.
The Monkees were invited to stay in Narnia, which they did. A large house was built for them and they were treated with great respect and kindness.

One day, the Monkees decided to go horse back riding. As they traveled along, they came across the wardrobe now standing in a sunny field of flowers.
"Hey, I had forgotten about that old wardrobe!" Peter exclaimed.
"Yeah, let's see if everything's ok in the pad." Micky said, "Who knows how much time has passed since we came here."
So, dismounting from their horses, the guys climbed into the wardrobe and within seconds they were inside their bedroom in the pad.
"Everything looks in order." Mike remarked.
Davy looked at the clock. "Hey, we've only been gone a few minutes!" He said.
"Well, let's go back." Mike said.
But when they tried to go inside, they came up against the wooden back of the wardrobe!
"Uh oh." Peter whispered.
"It doesn't work all the time." Davy said, "Maybe later it will open up for us."
"Hey, what's this?" Peter asked, picking up and envelope from the bottom of the wardrobe. He looked at the front, and was surprised to see it was addressed to him!
"It's for me!" Peter said.
"What does it say, Peter?" Micky asked.
Peter opened the letter and began to read:
“Dear Peter,
If you are reading this, then you have found the secret of the wardrobe. I could never find my way inside, though I have tried many times. The legends say you cannot go back to Narnia the same way twice, but you never know...
Take Care,
Uncle Louis”

So the Monkees never were able to go back to Narnia through the wardrobe, but sometimes, a breeze of warm air could be felt coming from the wardrobe...

The End
