A book entitled “Christian Homes and Special Kids”, contains a chapter written by her titled, “Daniel, Our Son With Spina Bifida.” This book, published by NATTHAN/CHASK, gives a “personal glimpse into the lives of Christian families privately educating their disabled children.” NATTHAN is the NATional cHallenged Homeschoolers Associated Network and CHASK (Christian Homes And Special Kids) is a support ministry for parents who have been informed that their baby may be born with some form of special need. This book contains inspiring stories and practical suggestions for teaching children. Copies are on sale at the library at cost, $17.00 per book. Susan is available to sign copies on an as needed basis. (I couldn’t talk her into a book-signing party!) The Glenwood Public Library is open Monday – Friday, 12:00 noon – 5:00 PM.
