Greg Knowles is married to Teresa Knowles owner of Century 21 “The Knowles Team” in Reidsville. They have two children Eric and Rachel; Eric is married to Hayley French Knowles; he has three wonderful grandchildren Kylah, Emma and Jonah.

Greg is a 1974 graduate of Reidsville Senior High School after graduation he went to work for Duke Power as a mechanic. In 1982 he went to work for Trader’s Chevrolet in Greensboro, NC as a transmission mechanic. He opened GK Transmissions 1993 in his home garage and moved to his current location in 1996 at which time Johnny Walker joined as a transmission technician.

Greg's hobbies are restoring old trucks and cars. The red 1955 first series Chevrolet from an old fire truck that he found under an old shed. He recently built the rat rod "mighty mouse" and is currently building "arachnophobia" which should be on display in September of 2008. Greg's passion is his family first and flying his 1968 citabria air plane.

Johnny Walker is married to Penny Walker they have two sons Allen and Nick and the grandparents to three beautiful granddaughters Audre, Kaitland and Keirston.

Johnny worked for dealer ships and a local garage prior to joining GK Transmissions. He has been with GK since 1995.

Greg and Johnny offer over 30 years of experience in domestic, GM, Chrysler, Dodge and Ford transmissions.
