Dave; TV Tower 24 -- Dave Worked thru College 1954-58.

One of the jobs Dave W. Girdner had to help pay College bills at LeTourneau (Longview, Texas) was fabricating, installing & maintaining self-supporting TV Towers to 60 ft high. Taller than 60 ft. required guy wires.

25 -- At first Deep Space Station (DSS). Dave Girdner at "Pioneer" or DSS 11 Antenna Controls in 1964.

Built in 1958, the 85 ft. dia. Pioneer antenna was the first to track the first series of Pioneer U.S. Interplanetary Robotic spacecraft. Pioneer 6 was the longest operating spacecraft in history in the year 2000.
