This Rock Church, & parsonage in the background, was built by Girdner's with help from friends. Nola Girdner was considered the Pastor, however many preachers usually filled in over the years. Click on image for full-size photo.

Oak Creek district #16.
Don Hansen's parent's truck (his mom was cook);
Teacher Louise (Humbert) Kovacavich's Ford coupe.
Built in 1913, this school up on the mesa was about a half mile east of the original school on the JP Girdner ranch.
