Mat A came to us a very focused and methodical DJ. His attention to detail in song transition/mix is what first caught my interest in his DJ ability. Mat would carry intros and outros twisted with just enough effect to take you to another plane before letting the gates open and the energy of the song flow like mad. His style was refined, focused, and -tight on the money mixes- while having kept an untouchable air of looseness and casualness about him during his sets and performances.
