I was tired of replacing my rag sock every 8 months and now have a windsock or cone that is calibrated to 15 knots full extention, will last a indefinite time, and is more sensitive to wind speed change then the rag type sock.

New Windsock replacement assemblies, all metal, long duration, exceeds Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular no: 150/5345-27C/ specification for wind cone assemblies. Plans are available for 18 x 75 inch and a 9 x 37 inch windsocks. Contact me for info.
