I recently burned some MQS 1999/2000 Revisited CD's from my masters to fill some orders and after I'd mailed them I sat back to view the CD and enjoy the memories. During that viewing I noticed the transitions between the slides were very annoying and took away from the picture viewing time. I'd completely forgotten I had put that in the original slideshow CD's back then and now wonder why someone didn't bring this to my attention so I could have fixed it before now. Anyway, any future CD's ordered will have the annoying transitions removed and below, for those that know how to burn CD's, is the instructions for how to remove the transitions and burn a new CD for yourself without the transitions. Of course you will not have a label but you can't have everything...:-). 1. Create a new folder on your computer to copy the CD contents to. I suggest creating the folder in your My Documents folder and naming it MQS1999&2000. 2. Copy all the files from the CD to this new folder. 3.
Locate and edit all the "shows.ini" files to add the statement
"transitions=no" to the bottom of each file. There are a total of 9
"shows.ini" files that should be edited and they are located in the below
folders and subfolders of the MQS1999&2000 folder you created on your
computer. Make sure when you edit the "shows.ini files" that you
"Save" after you add the "transitions=no" statement to each.
4. When you have completed editing all the
"shows.ini" files, use your CD burning software to burn a new CD from the
MQS1999&2000 folder on your computer. |
