Tributes To Marge

Probably the greatest tribute you can give anyone’s life is the reaction generated by their loss.  Hundreds of condolence cards and email notes have been received.  I’ve also received over a dozen notices of donations in her name to The City of Hope, American Lung Association, The American Cancer Society, Hospice groups and memorial gifts to churches.  In addition several have indicated they will be participating in the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life and dedicating it to Marge.  One lady also said she donated a quilt to raise funds also for the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life.  Below are just a few sentiments contained in the cards and messages received.

“Marge was a good friend and I will miss her very much”. -- neighbor

"Marge did the best quilting I have seen.  I didn't know her, meet either of you or even received you as a reference.  I found your brochure either online or at some quilt show and I decided to check you out.  I was VERY pleased.  I have someone else do most of my quilting, but if it's special and I'm going to spend good money on it, it would go to Marge." quilting customer

"I was fortunate to be asked to be the speaker and teacher at the quilters guild last Tues.  So I got to show ALL my quilts that Marge had done for me and tell about how wonderful she was as a person as well as the most talented quilter who ever drew breath.  I tried to make it a tribute to her and all that she had done for me." quilting customer
