Grant and Kathy's First BWCA Canoe Trip (1993)

	Route: Gunflint Lake - Magnetic Lake - Pine River - Clove Lake - Pine River - Granite River - Gneiss Lake - Devil's Elbow Lake - Maraboef Lake - Saganaga Lake - Gull Lake.
	Canoe Order: Ron and Stephanie in the lead; Sheryl and Darlene in the middle; Grant and Kathy bringing up the rear.

FAVORITE MEMORIES

	Ron -- Shooting rapids (all of them)
	Darlene -- Bald eagle watching from the tree and family of loons next to the canoe
	Sheryl -- Watching the sunset Wed. night with the family
	Stephanie -- Jumping off rocks into the lake with Sheryl while Ron treaded water
	Kathy -- Triad: last set of rapids on Pine River; catching the only Northern; finding Swiss Army knife
	Grant -- Million-$ view from the tent at the 1st campsite on Clove Lake

	Ron -- Losing the map and forgetting the leeches
	Darlene -- Rain all day on Wednesday
	Sheryl -- Not shooting the last set of rapids on the Pine River
	Stephanie -- No moose or bear sightings
	Kathy -- Hearing first motors on Saganaga Lake (evidence of return to civilization)
	Grant -- Standing up to his knees in swamp muck with a 68# canoe on his shoulders and not being able to move
