My hand painted floor cloths are created in lush colors with striking contrast. All colors have vibrations which interact with other color vibrations creating an influential engery affecting home decor. I believe my designs create an uplifting and positive engery which brighten not only the decor and the ambience, but also the mood of those who are in the room.

I have been painting floor cloths and abstracts since 1997 when I discovered how much fun it is to paint. (I cannot imagine anything I would rather do.)

Originally from San Diego, California, my husband Jim and I and our cats moved to Socorro, New Mexico where I graduated from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2001. Shortly after graduation, we moved to Mountainair, New Mexico where I opened The Floor Cloth Studio & Gallery which featured my hand painted floor art. Today I teach "Painting Just for Fun" in the after school arts and recreation program at Mountainair Elementary School and I paint in my home studio. I show my work on the internet and at art fairs.
