Hi!
Welcome to my site. I am originally from San Diego, California
where I started taking art classes while recovering from surgery. In 2001 I moved to Socorro, New Mexico where I
graduated from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. A few months later, I moved to the little art community
of Mountainair, New Mexico where I opened my art studio.
I love bright colors, don't you? Color movitates
me to paint. I really love the joyful feeling I get from the unique color vibrations created by bright color
contrast, which is found in all of my work. Most people find color to be stimulating and uplifting. In fact,
often those who are color deprived begin to laugh spontaneously when reintroduced to color. Color is fun and joyful and
it creates an interesting happy reaction. No one will get depressed from my paintings.
I coordinated The Functional Art Fest 2004 and
The Mountainair Studio & Gallery Tour 2005, and I exhibited in both. I also exhibited in the Holiday Art
Show 2004 at the Art Center of Mountainair. I am currently working out of my home studio in Mountainair.
