Framing the play is a discussion among the priest, the
woodcutter, and the wigmaker as they hash out what had transpired in court when the woman and the bandit testified.
George Schwimmer, the wigmaker, has the juciest role among the recounters and makes
the most of it with wily persistence.

While performances vary, high marks are awarded to Shahbaz Khan as the proud, confident

as the perceptive grave-robber.
Adding spice and irony to the tale are the comments of the Wigmaker, a very versatile
and comic portrayal by George Schwimmer.

"the angry young man" of Mr. Levinson's play, has the solid depth of an actor,
manipulating the anguishing changes from hope to frustration to despair with fine believability.
