Jolie (French for "pretty") is a Rainbow Lory. Native to Australia, these birds feed on pollen and fruit rather than seeds. (They cannot digest seeds.)
Jolie is a prodigious and exuberant bather, and loves to dive into the water bowl in her cage repeatedly while making a loud and exultant series of chirps. She is a real clown, and will bob her head up, down, and sideways, hopping around with a gimpy gait until everyone in the room is laughing hysterically.
