A great background read. I keep meaning to complete this site's background by finishing the page titled "The Saeculum" but I just can't seem to find the time. Meanwhile, though, visitors might have noticed that I've linked some background info to Bill Murray's fantastic resource, The TimePage. Bill has lots of detail of American history organized according to the Strauss and Howe generational model, so check it out if you want to learn more about how history creates generations and generations create history.
