It's rare that I find myself hurting for a topic. Living a gay life has humor built right in. Even more helpful to my deadlines are the many politicians and religious figures in the U.S. and around the world who express the same loving feelings toward gay folks that they do toward earwigs. Believe you me, nobody was sorrier than I to see Jerry Falwell pass. He was God's gift to me.
