The only daughter of the Raccoon Family is a bright-eyed, eternally alert and inquisitive child, the kind that seems to see and hear everything. Actually, in Observant's case, it isn't correct to say that she "seems" to see and hear so much... she genuinely does see and hear that much. Her senses are in constant high-input mode, taking in everything to a degree that astonishes everyone. In a crowded room, where an ordinary person might only be able to make out the one conversation that one is engaged in, Observant can with a little concentration make out all of them.
She is full of curiosity about nearly everything. She is also full of surprises. For a long time it was thought that her ultra-high sensory abilities were her only unusual attribute. But during a visit to a rather magical skunk fem named Cuanu, (see "obs_cuan.gif") Observant obtained (by some exchange of info and/or magic that to this day only she and Cuanu know about) the ability to cause her headfur to defy gravity. With subsequent practice she has been able to increase this ability to such a high level that she is now able to counteract gravity completely, giving her the power of flight over short distances.
Observant's senses of perception continue to increase with practice. She seems to be gradually extending her range into the paranormal areas of the spectrum of reality, learning to "see" things that actually cannot be perceived by eyesight. Past lives, possible futures, noncorporeal beings and realms have all been glimpsed either partially or completely by her sensory abilities at this point, and with her inherant curiosity she will probably be seeking to find out even more...
Special note:
An advance apology is in order to all who read this information, for there is at the moment a story being developed by me that will go much deeper into the origins and history of the Raccoon Family than that which has been so far revealed. The personality profiles that you will find here at the present time are therefore (though accurate and true as far as what is presented) slightly incomplete. This is done not to mislead the reader, but to maintain a measure of suspense for the stories to come. Your patience and understanding are appreciated. <:)
