Katharina Barton Callaghan
1878-c. 1945

Katharina, originally from County Kerry, Ire., married
Michael Dennis Callaghan in 1905. The Marriage was
short lived as Michael, a Chicago cop, was killed in
the line of duty in 1908. Michael had immigrated from
Castleisland, County Kerry to Chicago around 1894,
probably through Canada. We do not know Katharina's
immigration route.
