George Hobson was born ca 1677 in England and died Nov. 1748 in Frederick Co., VA. Descendants are to be found throughout the United States. Included in the book are the following families: Allen, Brown, Clark, Cook, Cox, Davis, Hadley, Hinshaw, Johnson, Jones, Marshall, Matthews, Phillips, Reece, Russell, Shore, Smith, Taylor, Thompson, Vestal, Williams. Descendants of Frederick Hollingsworth, An Irish Immigrant, by Rachel Hollingsworth Higginbotham.  1992, 115 pages, softcover, index.  Frederick Hollingsworth was born in County Wexford, Ireland about 1805, died 1869 in Iowa.  Immigrated to New York in 1829.  Married Elizabeth Brown 1836 in Indiana.   ($15.00)

Genealogy of the Herbert Hoover Family, by Hulda Hoover McLean. 1967, 486 pages, index, softcover.  Andreas Huber came to this country from the Palatinate in 1738 and established this Hoover line in America.  Herbert Clark Hoover, the 31st  President of the United States was b. in Iowa 1874 and died in New York 1964. Married Lou Henry in 1899.  She was the daughter of Charles Delano Henry and Florence Ida Weed.  ($25.00)

Stephen Lacy was born ca 1705/10 New Kent Co., VA and died Goochland Co. 1772. Stephen had 12 children and he and his descendants are the subject of this book. ($65.00)

The William Lacy and Elliott Lacy Families of New Kent and Chesterfield Counties, Virginia with forebearers and descendants. By Hubert Wesley Lacey and Howard Elton Lacey. 634 p., 8 1/2"x11", soft-cover, index. Contains over 6,000 names and over 60 previously unpublished pictures, none later than 1905. The book features the descendants of , all sons of Thomas Lacy II and Ann Burnley. The material on Nathaniel Lacey has not been published prior to this book, which is a companion volume to the books by Hubert Wesley Lacey on Thomas Lacy III and Hazel Potter Lawler on Stephen Lacy, also sons of Thomas Lacy II.
